IMC, Stop focusing on RMT/bots and fix the game

Meh. All of these lackluster patches killed the game for me; for now at least. I’ll wait to play again when I see significant changes in game play/class balancing and more info on future classes.

The bots don’t bother me much. I would rather see other areas of the game get more love and attention honestly. But since that doesn’t seem to be the case, I’ll have to wait until IMC decides to do something about the areas of the game that I do care about.

I don’t like this, but what can I do? Other players much more vocal than I have already expressed similar sentiments, and I’m sure IMC knows it all too well, so the next best thing for anyone in my shoes to do is take a break from the game and see what the future holds. Remaining on a game that’s in a state that you don’t like, with no idea when your issues will be addressed is just adding unnecessary disappointment to your gamer life. It’s ok to take breaks.

I think many of the threads that complain about the same issues for weeks on end are just beating a dead horse; not to mention how poorly worded they are and the overly negative and aggressive tone many of them carry. How does anyone expect IMC to want to respond to this? The only threads that got any response were the ones that were critical yet constructive. Maybe people should use those threads as frameworks for their critical posts? Or just take a break and save yourself the trouble of writing another complaint thread, as well as that feeling of disappointment and frustration.

It’s their job to do both, not just one.

Imagine if the bots report all the lowest arde dagger items?

The both of you are correct, but it’s the circle jerk on these forums. When they do one, people are incredibly quick to complain about the others. The problem with IMC right now is that while they are showing us they have basic comprehension* (questionable), they have no idea how they want this game to be or even have basic “No, we are not going to change this feature” debuffs to people’s incessant questioning. They have no sense of direction, and a seemingly palpable sense of resolve to find that direction.

Are you implying they are actually taking care of bots? Hah.
