Not gonna lie, you can earn that amount of silver with even less real cash spent via RMT (which technically isn’t allowed but people do it anyway).
Still, I’ll probably pool up some cash and see what I can get. Guess I’m too jaded by gacha shenanigans because the old games I used to play have that in spades. It’s kinda like gambling in a way.
I am disappointed though - I used to be happy about ToS not being pay2win. Those good ol’ days…

As much as I hate to say this, it is the whales and paying players who are funding the game. Games need things such as those p2w stuff to attract whales who do spend $$$ just to be/feel ahead of others.
Other small fishes like us who spend $20-30 every month are sort of negligible. Our school isn’t big enough to fund the servers and the development.
IMC’s steps to inflation:
- Buy TP
- Buy cubes
- Exchange cube item for medals
- Buy Silver chest with medals
- ???
- Inflation
If I’m correct in this line of thought, there will be no market for free player from now on.

Yes, same sentiments. How I wish ToS goes into a subscription model like what other AAA MMOs are doing. Too late for that now though, even if they implement it it can’t go above the cost 150TP per month as a token cost only 99TP now.
And 150TP (around 12USD?) x 5k players is only $60,000 per month. Not even enough to support the servers + the design/development team’s monthly salary.
