It literally does that each time you turn on your pc and do something.
These things have an life expectancy of about 10 to 20 years max. Given slow or heavy usage.
My momentan SDD is 4 years old and theres an 6 year old part bakcup build in too.
They’re fien and have already delted tousands of gigabytes…and redownlaoded stuff.
