Iām not freaking =p but the grind walls need to be made more manageable at the beginning or you will loes a lot of players before they even get into the game properly.
As a full support class I wonāt get blue mob???
I agree they should give more cards. Around 2nd Circle, skill level up slows down versus regular level up.
get a pt~ but sometimes when u run around, u might be lucky to find a few along the way with no one to steal it from~
my current Swordsman built is Swd>High3>Sq>Dope so the build can easily adjust whatever Fencer class maybe in the future. Taking skills that doesnt require specific weapons.
Unless Fencer relies on subweapon skills
plot twist: fencer is for archers bwahahaha
That is the main reason people are flaming at the exp rate. You also forget that there are 80+ class combinations in this game and some people want to get a taste of the majority of it.
kCBT 1 had 3 days middle of January
kCBT 2 had 5 days end of April
kCBT 3 had 10 days end of July-August
There is only 44 classes recorded right now on ToS Fanbase and 11 without any data.
They easily get to 200 on different characters after every wipe.
ToS is in beta, everyone should calm down their horses because next beta will have 5 days and more classes which the developers will expect us to get to test things outs.
We get 2 months to make friends and to plan how we can level up at a faster pace, hopefully with a better exp rate.
Another possible theory of mine this will take very long is because the game is being reworked from the ground up for international because itās faster than erasing all the code and rebuilding it in a different language. Telling by kCBT 1 had 3 days and we have 3 days our first.
hey, anything could happen bwahahaha
Level 600 sounds like a mammoth among Levels - at first. A feast for all progress gamer indeed. Ragnarok relied on heavy grinding too - at least in itās old days when no Bio Lab existed or super high exp rates like the renewal ones. Even then you grind for cards over Months and Years wich kept you busy. People who played it will know what iām talking about. Here the Boss Cards are only for a few classes and got a super high drop rate - to compensate the grinding loss they include 600 Levels and tons of different classes (more than Ragnarok) wich will keep people busy for the next year and beyond. Unlike other games the End Game content gonna take super long to achieve. Compare it to the ānewlyā released āEcho of Soulā - i reached the Cap in a whooping 19 hours of grinding. Thatās when the actual grind started tho! Doing Dungeons - PvP etc.
So even if the Exp rates gonna get doubled compared to the first CBT you still have to grind for the āultimateā stuff and progress further and further. To be honest i donāƤt wanna reach level 600 in one year! I wanna enjoy the end content as soon as possible cause thatās where the fun starts! Even then āAs soon as possibleā doesn mean i wanna reach level 600 in 2 days. As i posted on another thread 2 Months of 6 hours gameplay sounds okay. Thats where the devs should aim for nothing less and nothing more. Just my opinion tho.
While i agree with you that people need to calm down. Citing kCBT getting to 200 easily each beta test is meaningless because they had 3x the exp rate than the International Beta test did.
We are at first stage of the beta, even if kCBT gets all the good stuff right now. They probably went through the same rate as iCBT at their first beta.
they did with exceptions of last minute exp boosts to test more stuff since the game was already made with korean text while we had to wait for our translations before we could test it
they also wont probably release new rank7 above classes until future updates. which is sad
at least give me info on Fencer class
plot twist: Devs know you want it but aināt giving it to you muahahahaha
anyways, we might only get solid info as time passes from CBTs till rank 6 only, after that is left for after open beta
This is the point of the game though, itās suppose to make you feel like thereās a ton of stuff to accomplish and that getting to max level is the end-all be-all.
In RO and other games like WoW Vanilla, only a small portion of the population (maybe 20-25%?) of players got to max level in the first few years. Itās refreshing to find a game that your playtime actually rewards you.
I imagine it being like Lineage 2 was at first. There was 99 levels but the skills didnāt even go past 64 at first and same with mobs past 70 didnāt exist xD
