Grinding and time consuming stuff in MMOs never bothered me because I just take it slow and enjoy the ride. I treat MMOs like an activity. It’s pretty relaxing just running around whacking stuff in ToS lol.
People who just want everything right away tend to complain about these things IMO. They are also the first to quit an MMO because they didn’t enjoy actually playing it in the first place…

I prefer quest driven mmos but my god are ToS quests boring…kill x ants, fetch y bottles of water… I know this is a basic mmo quest design but idk man try to mix it up a bit
I think 170 to 185 takes the longest… after that 186 ~ 210 could be done in like 1 day
I played lineage 2.
Have to get soulshots, have to walk insanely slow walking speeds. Die is massive exp lose + change to drop your years worth of farmed gear.
Impossible to level solo, even if you did you would get shot down by other players because reasons.
In my opinion this is the best of both worlds. Grind but also loads of quest maps. I love those quest maps. Little bite size maps.

I think op want the game to be mindless grinding where you can shut off your brain from the start killing mob endlessly till you hit level cap sadly(?) that’s not the case here
