I almost agree with all of your presented statements, except the following ones: [quote=“kylar.sim, post:272, topic:275395”]
Tree of no diminishing returns

Ever try hitting a mob that keeps sleeping/freezing you? Try the pure loftem at main chamber. Enjoy being chain frozen to death even as a tanky build.

Why diminishing returns? Do you want a safe zone for you to be special and rewarded for not having to face danger in a fantasy/adventure game? What’s the fun in knowing that by the 3rd time a monster attacks you with the same spell, it will lose its effect or won’t do anything at all?

Also, you keep comparing this game to World of Warcraft. I’m pretty sure there are other games out there that are akin to this one instead of misleading us into thinking you are a WoW fan just by the way you portrait yourself.

Game is probably dead. Always same people keep writing on the forum and give opinions.

I do not want to lose this game tho.

Less restriction, less limitation on gameplay biggest problem in tos for me. Have more social/character development, more freedom.

wahahahaha huehuehuehue

… /facepalm

I agree… I keep trying to get friends to play but… I have nothing to hook them with. There are so many limitations—and the majority of gamers are looking for open-ended, open-world experiences.

The class system is unique, it can be fun with more players. Dunno what to do. :frowning:

I just wish they’d reduce all the prices in the cash-shop. The prices don’t even make sense—$30 for 1 item? It doesn’t even drastically improve your experience in the game T_T

Have you tried hook64?

By the way. Don’t you guys find it funny that almost everything the OP said is still true?

Well, everything he talked about has had changes. I dont have lag issues anymore. No more commander load fail. Restrictions has been lessened. We can buy TP now. They are working on optimization. What else did he talk about?

Also, why are you necroing all the i quit threads. Saying the same thing on each one.

Hey OP, honestly I feel your pain.
Tree of Savior is on the far end of uncaring, and often times they have a habit of making problems much worse.
I think personally, this is the true aspect of a hardcore Korean MMO, which is hard to acclimate to.
For that reason, I often take periods of time off, and fill my free time with another game, or even something none gaming.

For instance, I recently entered a writing contest, and am trying to learn Japanese.

My point is that, unlike Tree of Savior is like a true hardcore, korean MMORPG. It’s the stuff that makes Koreans so good at SC, Overwatch, and LoL. They just pick a character or maybe two they really like, and just keep doing it. It’s not even about whether it’s fun or not. The mindset of a hardcore gamer in Korea is just not something that a lot of western culture gamers (even the hardcore ones), would understand.

It is honestly sad to see any thoughtful member of the Tree of Savior community leave, because there just aren’t enough people playing the game to begin with. But if you leave, from one member of the ToS community to another, I hope you actually understand what it is you are leaving and why.

BTW what is Kim actually doing? WolfKnights is nowhere to be found and TOS development is really slow.

Working hard on reverse engineering the Chinese ToS mobile clone for Nexon.

To be honest if they make a successful phone version and let the PC one die, I won’t ever play their phone version, I’ll just join the Ragnarok Mobile one, at least at the start they didn’t suffer from so many bugs/exploits/shistorm as our beloved Tree of Savior did…
