I just saw a lvl 106 Cleric

I’ve been 120 since early yesterday morning, and I haven’t played to excess. Really, people are under some misconception about the amount of grinding in the game. I may have been grinding for 4 hours tops. The only reason I stopped leveling is because I have two friends waiting to catch up, and I don’t want them to lose interest because we can’'t all be in a party.

Saying someone has no life because they’re higher than you in a video game? You need to look in the mirror, pal.

I have no idea how people are managing this, I’ve got 2 characters 1 lv 83 and 1 Lv 67 and people are progressing so fast …Lv 80 and ran out of quests now.

I’d imagine it’ll get alot faster after lv 90 since u can spam dungeon

Seriously, I don’t know how people is able to play in group on a quest-based MMORPG (at least, people say that here, that’s only on the early stages).

I tried to play with friends a few times, but there was this time when one of them had to go, and we just couldn’t keep playing without getting too far away, and thus, making him lose interest.

Also, there was this time when we were doing just what i said, and days later, another friend joined in, and we just couldn’t wait for him to catch up. In the end, we couldn’t do party stuff with him, because most of the stuff was questing and easy tasks for solo players, on which of course he didn’t need help at all.

I don’t really play with friends anymore, there is much more freedom just playing by yourself, on your own times instead of waiting or leaving in order to catch or let others catch up.

This is a serious personal question, i haven’t been able to enjoy playing MMORPGs with friends since the days of endless grind on Lineage 2.
Solo-friendly and quest-based MMORPGs kind of killed the whole thing for me.

Thankfully there are MOBAs, on which people can just join in and have full cooperative action since the first day.

My friends and I are older now, so the time we spend together is very scarce, especially since we all are married/engaged. So it’s more of a mutual respect thing. I flew through the first part of the game and decided you know what, I’m not having as much fun as I would if I were playing with my buddies. So I’ve went back on many occasions and ran them through zones quickly.

Trust me, being in the top 10 was fun for awhile, but the more I sat around in town talking to my buddies while they tried to catch up, the more fun I started to have.

If you’re looking for a group friendly MMO, I recommend FFXIV. I feel Tree of Savior is more solo and quest based. So it’s much more difficult to have both your levels and quests sync up at the same time with your friends. It’s nifty that during boss fights in ToS you can jump to each other but it only works if you’re on the same map and in the same quest line.

Not really, you’ll be summoned regardless of quest if you are on the same map and channel.
