Quote them so I don’t have to write the same things all over again. You would be more or less see that if you read my posts but if you don’t read them then don’t say anything about them.
Then I suggest you stop playing this game all together to spare yourself the pain that is yet to come.
Bye~!
The whole point of creating a game, is to appeal to as broad fanbase of players as possibles and earn money. if Dev’s will adjust exp rates accordingly to feedback, there is nothing you can do. or anyone else except Dev team.
saying stuff like “LOL, you can’t grind for xx hours a day like I do? LEAVE THEN!” Is not productive and yields no earnings, so i don’t think Dev’s will not change exp rates if the complaints will keep coming to their ears.
So you want the developers to develop more places? While the problem can be taken care of by simply getting rid of the early grinding and letting players grind as hardcore as they want later when there are more fun, more places, more classes, more character types, more in-game roles, more things to do? Who is asking for more, me or you?
Because that’s exactly what the dev told us? I didn’t demand they to develop more places, I just want they to meet with what they told us.
Some kCBT testers said there will be a lot more contents, maps to level, etc at level 100+ (3 maps per level range as they told us, tried to find the posts but they were buried too deep). Also at that level, people have more different skills, character types and in-game roles so it will be a lot more fun to play and grind. But as of now getting to 100 is too much time and effort while design wise it ain’t worth it like many here make it to be. Many wouldn’t know there will be a lot more to ToS and just quit after a few days of playing because of the grind. What can you be missed if you level faster in these very early levels? You can grind as hardcore as you like later. Now most of the people suggest getting rid of the grind only in the very EARLY game, not completely getting rid of it to make players “able to reach level cap in a week”.
What you want you will get if they ease of this early grind but you are against that.
You may not be one of these people, if so I’m sorry. Just so tired of having words pushed to my month, now I don’t know who is who anymore.
//below is not aiming at dsveno
Many just keep going “so you want to reach level cap in a week” blablabla “casual”, “always complain” blablabla. I am so tired of this.
Tera, Aura Kingdom didn’t made you grind to the point of getting frustrated, lol. Repetitve grinding and the only thing to do mostly in this game.
All I have to say is that grinding is only mindless if you do it mindlessly.
The “whole point” of making a game is certainly not to cater to everyone or a “wider audience” (as has been the death knell of games in the past). It’s a common business decision but can often have lots of negative effects on the quality and life of the game (or any product). Niche games can and have survived and kept developer studios open. Barring shenanigans by NCsoft, City of Heroes did this and EVE does it as well. The Secret World seems to do alright too.
saying stuff like “LOL, you can’t grind for xx hours a day like I do? LEAVE THEN!” Is not productive and yields no earnings
The wording is crass but there’s some truth to it. If you can’t dedicate much time to a game with a grind then you need to consider if you should be playing it at all. If it really bothers someone so much that their progress is slower then that game may just not be for them. Sometimes games just aren’t as accessible to certain people for various reasons (time requirements, minimum requirements, IP restrictions, etc).
for most games yeah, there will be just random events and stuff and if the game is still a bit popular even after end game, most (okay maybe half) of the game publishers i know or anyone know will try to milk you
exactly, there is a pt to try too instead of grinding solo everytime
