I cant play TOS after update

Bug Description :
I cant login to game, and i try verify integrity of game cache when loading to 74% it will crash

Hi guy i solve it with this method.

  1. go the ur game installation file location, for mine is this C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TreeOfSavior\release
  2. Delete user.xml and user_c.xml , if you do wan a backup dont backup to same folder, it will fail to fix.
  3. After delete go to steam and verify integrity of game cache
    4.Then it will redownload the patch and install again then can enjoy the game.

UP!

I have done everything, fixed game cache, then REINSTALLED the game, then turned ALL firewall off, I tried to run the game with no other program running and minimal applications.

There is NOTHING wrong with my pc (aside that it’s a win 10, I guess xD)

Stil got rebooted everytime to lodge when trying to log in with any char 90% of the time.

Totally unplayable.

WTF happened with this update? -.-

Killing all processes and stuff. It worked for me and i had the same error as the topics creator

I checked the cache for errors, then I re installed the game twice (one after manually erasing the tos files from steammaps) then I RE installed ALL the steams games.

SRLY.

After 10 years of dota 1+2, I had steam since 1st day of Dota 2 beta and I never REINSTALLED the WHOLE steam.

After that (resetting the console of dota 2 to my custom settings required 2 hours more or less, just as a side bonus, I guess)

NOTHING changed

THEN, one week later, I stopped having the error.

I will not even bother reporting the answers from the “support team”

After 20 years of competitive on line play I never felt trolled so bad from a ticket.

At least Im starting wondering if I should go back to my 5k+ MMR in dota and my multiple legend account on HS… Looks like I srly chosed the wrong MMO to come back in this type of game xD
