make sure you dont use the virtual gps to warp from like another country to another country or else the servers realize and you get soft banned
for like 1-12 hours depending on distance
i tend to play in sydney in usa because theres 100s of pokestops there
even though i actually live in canada lmao
its wasd movement pokemon go

Virtual location: The best part! Click on the Virtual Location button on the side bar and drag to pin yourself anywhere on the map, then click OK button at the bottom bar then you will “be” there instantly.

well you set it up before u play the app, and then after you stay in that city and use wasd to move
this is why i chose a very very large city lol
also you can still go to other cities but its best to wait a decent time before playing again in the new city because then they might think u flew there

if your in the bottom of usa in 1 second and then in canada the next second with no break in between they get suspicious and soft ban you

I live on a forest at the top of a mountain where my house is the only house…
and I still play pokemon go on cell…
at least It’s an excuse to walk even if the [nearby] is always empty

Shame on you.I already wasn’t crazy about you before,but now you’re just encouraging cheating.
The best part about Pokemon GO is what it gets you to do.Go outside and get some fresh air,exercise a bit,meet new people and feel better than you do holed up in your room playing games most of the time instead.
I hope anyone that lazy is found out and appropriately banned.

They are actively banning people for that. I was interested in that as well since my phone is wifi capable only. (Long story) but yeah, read several people having their accounts blocked.
really because every single place i look says they are doing soft bans
they did do a mass ban awhile ago though, guess we will find out
either way by that time ill have probably gotten to level 30 and have had my fun by then and game will be stale regardless because that exp curve is too crazy afterward
one could almost apply this logic to TOS and see why it has an exploiter problem …hmmm
edit : i also tested my other email to see if soft bans wear off and it did in 2 hours for sydney to canada
I don’t really put much into it. It’s a great idea and amazing to see so many people out and about, socializing and getting exercise, but I walk enough for work. So when I get home, I pop my Poke app open, see if there is anything near me, and close it. Lv8 from just doing this lol.
