Hmm even IMC didn't anticipate CON wizards - misleading wizards with their stat choices since level 1

omg NOOB, every one knows wizards need full DEX. Just dodge everything, and get those dagger crits. FFS, people need to do their research before posting.

No but seriously though, I would like to know INT or CON too lol. ATM my wizard is 100 CON, 50 SPR, and 144 INT. That’s because I’ve heard a lot of these conflicting reports too lol. Although honestly the 50 SPR is because of my own ignorance when I first started, not really knowing how OP potions were XD.

But I have hope that some day… some day… I will find… a stat reset potion

Trying to remember
I cant remember too many bosses with unavoidable attacks
I dont recognize all attack animations - but they announce which kind of attack is going to be released. Currenlty I only recall Harpy-type with a 360degree aoe which I wouldnt know how to identify when to move back.

For common mobs its different, some of them have really hard hitting homing attack, one example given with archer spion on level 220 or so.

I see people just take the damage ALL THE TIME too. I think it’s pretty common for players to just assume those are unavoidable AE attacks…

Now that I’m aware that there are dodge-able attacks that only seem like they can’t be avoided I will be on the lookout lol

Still, if you ever walk through certain places these normal mobs with homing attacks are insane and the damage adds up really fast. I think at least 80 CON in the beginning parts of your leveling is a good idea and perhaps go plate over cloth in places where physical attacks are more of a problem.

Sounds like you enjoy living on the edge then if you don’t pick enough CON to at least account for human error. I’m not a pro gamer so I need some leeway for my personal mess ups lol.

Jumping constantly will let you survive so many boss attacks its crazy. True facts…so don’t skip leg day.

Maybe ToS is too “hardcore” for someone like you. It’s made in Korea after all…

But, the character slot limit is 15… !

I’ll just put more points in CON and counteract the Korea!

That delete button has been pushed more times than I care to admit… >_> I also switched servers after being on Orsha for 2 months lol completely rerolling everyone.

You really only need enough CON to not be oneshotted in PvE. You should be able to avoid most if not all of the AoEs from bosses, but it’s good to have that extra breathing room for when you inevitably do get hit. It’s only if you’re going for a PvP build that full CON starts to make sense.

Little known protip: you don’t actually have to move out of that AoE, in fact doing so is often what gets people killed by it because it’s only the outer circle that deals damage over its full duraiton. The inner circle is actually the eye of the storm and perfectly safe, BUT you have to jump at the start, because it does an initial hit of ground-based damage all around her.

I just know a bunch of Mandarin Chinese a bit after studying it for 3 years. I’m completely weird like that lol.

Corsairs always reminded me of Voyagers in Tales of Pirates…

They do AoE dmg with a dagger using SPR, but they don’t put any points in SPR at all… they put it all on CON… everyone in PVP kept saying…

“HEY GUYS! KILL THE SHARPSHOOTERS AND CRUSADERS, DON’T ATTACK THE CONVOY”

You can waste all your time DPSing a CONVOY and they just stand there on full HP regen, outhealing your dmg, and when you get close you get 1 shot by their AoE

CON has great usefulness in other MMO’s but its completely useless in Tree of Savior

Please stop all your drama. Most players nowadays check guides before making a character anyway.

You seem like a faily new player - you’ve had many others go before you, test things out and put the information out there so why are you complaining?

Sorcerers need INT!! and they’re the best Wizards so the NPC is definitly refering to just the BEST Wizards. They got the best skills, best farm, best deeps, best bugs, best non-working skills.
