Sadly I won’t be able to play the game on March 22 since I’m from South America, Venezuela and we don’t use dollars as our money currency so I can’t buy it and I also don’t have a credit card to buy it with paypal either or anyway to exchange money at all, besides exchanging from my currency to 50$ it’s way to expensive (4-5 months of work, yup, bad economy situation right now in the country), so all I can hope is wait for June 19 to finally try this game out since I’ve been waiting for it for more than a year and I didn’t get the chance to play any of the CBT, hopefully the game won’t die by the time it finally gets released…

Well, I discussed it over with my GF and we (she) decided that its worth to pay the shot for early access (meaning, I pay)

I was home on the Gabija server initally, but since its questionable whether the third server is needed early on or not, I gotta wait until I know it. Just to be sure I will make accounts on all servers anyways :wink:

I was going to pay for the headstart (though I do think that 3 months is excessive), but then I continued reading the announcement and saw that I’m zone-blocked :’(
Still don’t know if the restriction is only for the founder’s server or the whole game.

Sorry to say that the restriction is based on the whole game life of Int./Eng. ToS.

It is based on the various other games in the past which has region locks and to the “why” of it being locked.

That sucks to hear, from my knowledge, those that are zone blocked will have their own servers in the future as well. Which does super suck for those wanting to play on the international community servers.

Yeah, really sucks.
I’m an exchange student in China, I played iCBT with a bunch of friends from back home and we were really hyped for this.
Worse is that I can’t read Chinese, only basic/daily life stuff, so I’m kind of doomed if my only option is to play the local server, if there’s any (guys I know here don’t even know about this game) :l

Super shitty. It’s always a drag when exchange programs screw with things that you’d find fun.

@Asuna - I agree completely. Still, I’m scrambling cash together, I’m really excited we have a solid date! Now comes the point of finding a class I actually want to dig into.

@Remiri - M’hm. 40% isn’t bad. Plus, it’s supposed to be for a dedicated crew. I miss just dropping some cash on a game to play it, That’s why I got so into Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 when they came out, it’s a good model in my opinion. It also locks in a bit of the community because they put more than a bit of time into the game.
