I actually like his idea… Game is all over the place anyway with cardboard boxes, spray cans, dumbbells, muskets, mobs are mecha/steampunk-ish, medieval, fantasy, modern headgear so adding some other modern stuff will not make them more out of place.
IMC is just using TOS to test new mechanics for their upcoming MMO. Who in their right mind will want to play racing in an unoptimized lag-fest game?
I just want a simple Rock, Paper, Scissors game that can accept wagers and records scores in a leaderboard. That’s all.
Heads of development are notorious for wanting to add all sorts of stupid crap to a game. Its the team that more interests me. Hopefully whenever the Head goes “Hey lets add” the rest of the team goes “We have other things we have to do, there is no time, but it is a good idea sir perhaps one day when we have the time we could do it, praise be your genius lord of development” and then snicker behind their backs going “Like we’d ever have the time for that”
I just cant… from all the things that they could do to improve this game… I cant even express how this make’s me feel, its disgusting
I’ll just think that it was a VERY BAD joke that no one got and move on w/o even thiking of it again, otherwise i’ll lose my mind for sure.
Nobody can deny that IMC listens to what players are saying. Sportscars have been the hot topic among players since the game came out.
To be quite honest family members, swaying my head while drifting to a WaTerFront barbecue in my panda 86 which literally has as many mods as my ToS client while blasting all the beat tracks in the ToS soundtrack means I can only think of one thing: IMC is synonymous with sportscars. Impress, Motorsports, Cornering. Tuning for higher FPS (feet per second). If only all our homies like John and Julie were here to see the day, but when you’re talking about street racing or ToS, crashes happen every day.

this is all hype until we see any actual info or dev blogs/etc.
You guys can laugh all you want but I’ll be the one laughing when I’m driving my tuned up ferrari while hunting poppolions.
the heck with spray can. that is so out of place in this game. o_ou
Based on the HOD’s comment, they are focusing on what it is demanding. While Game Engine enhancement, Class Balancing, and PvP/GvG balancing are still short-mid term goals.
I agree with OP that what we should worrying is the game itself seems lost of long term direction after some massive feedback.
More contents isn’t always right thing, players’ time are limited and it will just divided the community more, and this game is pretty much population-driven, like if a content not enough population to uphold, it will eventually died.
Who is actually bothering HG and Hethran Badges? The HG is due to the bad designed public DPK while Hethran is due to the bad items. Content Improvement is what really needed.
We should limited the range of contents but quality and flexible enough, so players can enjoy whatever they like but at the end they reach the same progression and goal.
1 of my idea is to unify/semi-unify the reward system, every content participated (dungeon/saalus/mission/guildevent/quests/fishing) will give extra bonus amount of Karma Points (limited per day), these Karma Points can be traded for any recipe/materials that untradeable from certain NPC on different maps. So, players can join any content with their guildies/friends but without loss of the “dailies progress” in their mind.
Then we should enhance current HG by improving the items or itemization, for example dropping of new gem for specific effects like 5% fire damage.
I actually like something like Mirror Ball for wizard in Diablo3, where we can have pyro3chrono3enchanter as AA build.
new game mode wash mr kim’s car
I believe they said considered… Still too soon to conclude.
We haven’t got fishing feature yet and they are tweaking it…
Im not going to state the obvious here, which is that the OP was a bait for having people argue. Oops i guess i did state the obvious after all.
That being said, hmm have you heard of Final Fantasy before? not saying ToS lore follow or has anything to do with Final Fantasy universe, but fantasy MMOs can include technology. I mean for all we know the current maps/island could be next to a crazy advance society.
-I mean look at attack on titan. Dam anime had everybody thinking the world was only what they showed just to come out with a twist that point to the fact the whole anime is based on a tiny ass island.
On the topic of that interview:
Got to be honest i have no F idea were IMC is going with ToS story line. At the moment is a crazy disjointed mesh of angel (goddess) vs demons.

Even better: the Janken Cube!
You can buy it out from TP Store and it has 33.33% to drop you a Rock, Paper or Scissor card which you can use to battle others.
The remaining 0.01% is the chance to drop a random Solmiki Artisan Recipe which requires 7 practonium to be crafted.

Correcting they are still tuning it.
I mean if this was a bait for people to argue he did a really bad job as pretty much everyone is going to agree that they don’t really see sports car tuning as a priority for Tree of Savior.
This thread is

I pretty much stated that, even though is a very very very small chance. Those changes are possible, using the Final Fantasy franchise as reference for the premise of crazy technology being added to fantasy worlds.
-it would make little sense considering the current “lore”, but it is definitely a possibility.
Is he talking about the same game we are thinking? Or he’s a Head of Development from another game like Forza? Or worst he clearly saying screw you ToS players we are not going to give you balanced PvP, fun dungeons, WOE like GvG, or any feature that fits into the lore of a fantasy world. He’s probably hired by Nexon.
I blame it on the success of “games” like Farmville and Candy Crush.
