Has it come to this far ? (Need confirmation)

Ok so first, I have some doubts that they might have ninja nerfed the exp in dungeons and missions after the Halloween-closing maintenance ( aka new UI release ), and I am using euphemism. In fact, I am pretty damn sure they did, I use EXP viewer add-on and just before the maintenance Siaulai lv 100ish gives 220 k exp a boss, now 108k exp a boss, not sure about dungeons, though i have a good clue. But still, needs confirmation.

About the clue i got, yesterday i met with somebody who claimed to have not been playing for 1 month , means that the last time he ran a dungeon was last month ( sensibly, before the maintenance ) . We ran the lv 90 dungeon together twice with matchmaking , he got me intrigued when he texted “I would be 104 by now, but hey” at the end of the second dungeon run. I whispered him afterward and then he told me about not playing ToS for a month, also he was really confused about why 600 percent bonus exp wasn’t applied . Of course he could be lying, but I doubt that he has reasons to. Again, euphemism.

Things have been weird after the disappearance of matchmaking bonus which is ,according to IMC, still applied, although not shown, but i agree that it IS applied to an extent. Previously, as much as I know, it is ineffective to use tome in dungeon. For example, if you use 100% tome in dungeon , you would get 700 percent bonus, which compared to the normal rate 600 percent, is not a considerable change. Put in short, tomes stack addictively , not multiply. I only read this on the forum, haven’t tried myself since I started this game at about 18-19 November so I didn’t have the resources nor the chance before the matchmaking bonus got omitted. That being say, I desperately need confirmation on this one.

If the above is true, then it seems to me that the situation has changed, since my eyes beg to differ, after witnessing a guy went from 115 to 124 in 3 run today in lv 115 dungeon ( all 3 runs used tickets ) , I went from 115 to 118 in 2 runs ( all 2 with tickets ) . When I asked him about his exp rates, he said 375 % . Looks like exp rate is applied multiply now ( or it already existed before depends on validity of the above information. If that is the case, pardon my ignorance ), and something tells me that it is intended that way.

If all the above is true, then it seems to me that IMC is deliberately removing features to hinder players’ progress to keep them around longer as well as promoting using of tomes and team leveling, to achieve which you have to buy tomes and character slots with real money ( I was in extreme relief that tokens can be bought with silver only to find out I need to use TP directly in order to expand my lounge). And no I didn’t make this topic to complain or anything, I just need your confirmation .And if you really want to know then I’m not bashing them, in fact I think it is totally sensible to milk a dying game, it is either reputation or money, and if the reputation part is long dead according to current playerbase, then they are clearing making the logical decision. I just think that it is not important what they changed about the game but rather what drives them to the point of making unannounced configurations behind players’ back in order to get the most out of the it. if they really felt the urge to do it then maybe the game’s demise may have already drawn nearer than I originally thought
. But it is just MY OPINION , repeat MY OPINION. Please share with me whether you are experiencing the same thing, had I started this game earlier I would have gotten the answer for myself and wouldn’t trouble you guys. Oh yeah and it seems that the only thing wasn’t nerfed was lv 50 dungeon, the exp per mob is even bigger than that of lv 90 dungeon lol.

Didn’t this apply when they removed the -multi class party bonus?
Party bonus exp is applied with every class now.

Your massive wall of text is so hard to read it hurts. But basically how it goes from iCBT2 here in iTOS there was a gap in which they cut our beta and kept things rolling out in kTOS. The token system, tomes, TP stuff were all developed there and pushed out in iTOS on it’s “release” along with founder packs which is something kTOS never did.

So from day 1 since launch they’ve been milking the international community by removing features and using excuses which aren’t true. Dungeon reset vouchers came in later along with gacha cubes further descending down this path of greed. Then on top of that they made people wait SIX WHOLE MONTHS for a content patch because it was stated iTOS would be different from kTOS which was a lie.

Now we are here almost nearly a year later. The exp tome thing giving different values based on area has always been like that from the start btw~

but itos changelog/patchnotes didnt mention any changes on dungeon/party exp

i do realize about 10~20% less exp in mission, prolly coz level gap.

i skip dungeon queue entirely nowadays, afaik, quest n vibora kill count ease the pain of queue n random low eq party(end up dragging dungeon run)

i rather sell the instance clear voucher

yep. i personally feel that dun exp not as good as it was in July

You are right, not listed about party exp change. I must have mistaken KRtos patch for itos patch.

We got this official list:

EXP penalties according to monster-character level gaps have been changed as follows
A) Character level > monster level
- 5% EXP gain reduction per level if difference is 21 levels or more
- No EXP gain if difference is 40 levels or more
B) Character level < monster level
- 5% EXP gain reduction per level if difference is 21 levels or more
- 25% (out of total 100%) EXP gain if difference is 35 levels or more

don’t worry i noticed i got WAY less exp as well. i’ve been goign through on my characters wondering why its like this. might just quit after a while. leveling to r8 is suppose to be fun but for me a quest hater. idk. I dislike quests … i can’t seem to understand why.

they might have tweaked the scaling values on base but on 200 plus mission give up to 250-300k which is the correct value it use to be.

Tomes are totally mutliplicative now even on map. they did tweak 90 dungeon long ago. three runs with token and team level 35 only net me 100 or 101 at most. During the start was different though… three run will net me to 102 or so without any bonus just instance match.

Just grind ur way almeth , storage and maven give extremely good exp with tome now. Pre 210 questing or carding ia more efficent

the key idea is to get people buy tomes :grinning:

yeah my post said pretty much that. But a lot of ppl i met in-game have confirmed that almost everything listed above is true. Some replies agreed as well. Plus I’m using Exp viewer add-on so the statistic is pretty solid. And the 115 to 124 incident was seen during dungeon run with vouchers so I watched him pretty closely. I don’t ahve any dislike toward him, is just that it shows that IMC has been messing with the game mechanic without offical announcements. I think most of the high level players didn’t notice cause grinding is their main source of exp.

Naw high level is all about questing to 318 (250 - 318) then letting it rot on mission ( 500k per boss) and it will be done in a month or 2. Unless you like grinding then 210 - 317 grind.

the mid level won’t notice so much difference because it’s unaffected 130 + onwards are the same exp. Kinda bad as usual. It’s mostly the starter mission and and starter dungeon having a tweak.

Imagine the DLC people bought. From the start how much is that x multiply the population before.

Perhaps they tweaked because the Halloween event dungeon EXP was massive for alt-leveling.

I am so tired of getting toyed over and over and over again… . Well at least that event looks like 2 free character slots for me so i got that rolling for me which is nice
