Guild Making Class, Templar?

I actually like the idea of having a class to be a guild master. That way we will have dedicated people to actually manage guilds, possibly making GvG and the whole guild experience fun. I just wonder what skills will they have? Maybe summon members/officers or guild buffs. I’m really looking forward for the GvG in ToS, since it’s my favorite thing in Ragnarok Online. I just can’t wait to see how it will be, just hoping it would be much better!

I wouldn’t put too much stock in anything that’s been said or confirmed. In the end im betting it will be a simple talk to npc and make a guild.

If they did make a class specifically for making a guild then all that means is that 90% of guild leaders will be starting the game making an alt who will “host” the guild before making thier main char which would be extremly annoying as you basically sacrifice the launch race (one of my favorite parts of a new mmo) in order to create your guild.

Unless they announced some sort of GvG and templar skills were so awesome at GvG AND your guild actually cares about GvG. The class would just be alt fodder and annoying.

Also whatever buffs they give templar would have to either be terrible for PvE or a huge lockout timer on changing guilds. Otherwise im making one to run my party and just invite/kick from guild just like it’s a regular dungeon party lol.

speaking of which, i hope unlocking special classes does not revolve around limiting class tree upgrades to too narrow a build, meaning for example, in the anime overlord, for ainz to unlock the super rare/secret class eclipse, he had to spent all upgrades into death spells.

something like that may be okay, if it gives room for at least some diversification in build, otherwise all guild masters will pretty much be too similar in build :x

if limited, what happens if the person who takes this hidden class with limited slots, then decides to quit tos after a month or so. and this eventually happens more over time, so what then? will there be some rule where people of this class that go afk after a period of time will increase more slots for templar? or what?
