Here are steps in order to check whether your client is updated or not:

Of course you need to have steam open and your account logged in.

Find Tree of Savior in your list of games
- Right click it then select properties. You should get something like what is displayed below.
Additionally, for those having steam overlay problems due to it activating while pressing the shift key or whatever, you may disable it by unchecking the “Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game button”
- Going on, among the tabs shown on the window, click the local files tab.
- Then after that, click the Verify Integrity of Game Cache button. It should do the process of checking whether you have the latest files or so. I wonder why steam didn’t automatically have this activated for the beta in order to have early updates ._.
Then that’s it, if ever some files are found out to be outdated then steam should be starting the update download process now for you
