Nah, I’ve been playing it that way when I feel too lazy to get my mouse / can’t place it somewhere. All of these are game-breaking, but they can be incredibly annoying at times.
Lol… yes I think that would be quite difficult. But, if you pull it off, let me know.
i said in my first topic tha i was hoping to not get i key, becuse idk nothing about the game, but i received a key and that was my main question… i’m gonna test that, if i nedd to buy a wireless keyboard and mouse, i hope not…
I mean, it’s definitely better with a mouse, but also the mouse controls are best suited for ranged characters. Melee works just fine with only a keyboard.
ok so i’ll get one… i only play with ranged char.
This is a really delayed response, and I’m not 100% if my case is just unique because I’m using bootcamp, but I remapped my left command key (which normally functions as the windows key, but is right next to the spacebar) to function as left-control. However, when I attempt to use the secondary skillbar (ctrl+#), it doesn’t register that I’m pressing control when I attempt to do it while pressing the remapped command key. It just acts like I’m pressing the normal numbers with no additional input (so it uses my bottom skill bar, of which is just numbers).
Once again, it might be a weird bootcamp thing / maybe just that specific mapping, but I don’t know if ToS is able to recognize remapped keys for some weird reason. For reference, I use SharpKeys, of which edits the registry. I did this the first time when I used to play Dota in windows 8, as bringing up the apps page really sucked mid game, as well as having a more natural placement for a ctrl key (the ctrl key on a mac is really inconvenient).
I just bind my z into my gaming mouse G key and problem solve lol.
Buy a G600 and remap all keys on your mouse. Lol. 1 handed playing.
or click the enemy once and hold the Left mouse click to keep attacking on the same enemy.
As a wise, yet young George Takei once said: “Ohh myyy”~
Just bought mine 2 days ago in preparation for ToS. 20 programmable keys baby. Lol. And then there’s the G-shift option where when you hold it down, you can use all 19(G-shift button not included) mouse buttons as something else. so technically it’s 38 programmable keys. Lol.
Just a FIY to add to the OP if you want.
There are boss fights that you need to interact with it to advance the quest or kill him, and that is impossible to do with the mouse as the m1 button moves, attack and interact with things and i am certain that there is no way to map one command for 2 buttons without getting out of the game, and that is the reason too when sometimes you are trying to talk to npc you will start walking. Man, i hate mouses.
I have the exact same problem. Apple keyboard, remapped using SharpKeys.
There are a few interactive quest objects that don’t have a click-to-interact option. To progress through the quest, you must change your control scheme to something else, then revert back
The first one you’ll encounter is on the second floor of the Crystal Mine
same issue here with Mouse, they do need to fix that.
NECRO post, but to help you.
Change to keyboard mode then just use space to interact, that is the work around for now.
tks Buddy, but I know that, I just posted to make sure they receive more feedback.
tks again.
