Great Job IMC :))))

That ƒucking logic… but I love it :joy:

Anyway IMC is at fault here, and if they really care they should prioritize optimization/game security the first time they release the game but they dont instead they allow players to alter game files thus putting the game at risk and not to mention how they build hype then destroy it like it was nothing.

I bet IMC didn’t even care for IToS as long as people are giving $$$ to them, while being treated like trash compared to KToS, huehuehuehue… :sparkles:

Gonna praise the sun as soon as its out

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
u guys so funny
u do illegal thing…got banned and then crying.
so funny

He never cried you idiot cunt.
If you at least used your ■■■■■■■ brain, you would have read what he said properly and wouldn’t be shitposting, you dumbass.
He already said that, as a lot of others games did, if IMC contacted him, he would have helped IMC even for free.
They didn’t and all they did was giving 0 ■■■■■ for their game and players.
So don’t come to the forum shitposting if you are a idiot dumbass that can’t even properly interpret what the guy ■■■■■■■ wrote, you idiot.

Fooling ourselves? In what way? Do you really expect every player out there to not cheat? That’s like banning all evil from this world, it’s simply not possible. The desire to cheat becomes worse the more players are not cheating. You can’t expect someone to resist cheating if he would be the only person to do so.

This game is a unique world which can be crafted from scratch. IMC was able to prevent nearly every cheat in this game by handling it with care. They didn’t. That’s that.

Of course there are problematic things, such as RMT, Botting and Powerleveling, but many people (including myself) have learned to cope with these kinds of problems (although RMT can indeed be prevented, even if they failed to do so, now we can’t trade silver AND get spammed from RMTraders). That aside, we’re talking about truly stupid decisions from their part. Unnecessarily stupid.

And “grow up kids” does not solve this problem. But there still is a solution. Do you see the problem in that? How does it make you feel?

What people don’t understand is Korean games developers does not prioritize security/protection because they already have those “protection” IRL. Basically everyone in Korea are forced to play using their SSID. With this anyone that are caught breaking the ToS will be banned from playing any game in Korea. Hence why the game “looks” like it is poorly coded but it fit the “environment” in Korea.

This doesn’t mean it is acceptable to bring the whole original kToS to international without slightly changing the codes. All of the stuff happening from founder days until now are all IMC fault for being a lazy cuck that refuse to rewrite their codes before releasing the game internationally. This is just pure laziness on their part, which is absurd since they should had learned that mistake from the game they made 10 years ago.

Now it is just too late to fix it, like I always said there’s nothing IMC can do to fix it other than re-opening the game again with better coding on the game. Though I doubt that will happen.

Another gem wasted.

Sometimes I think IMC should reopen the game too. Just like ffxiv did.

But the consequences could be far worse than with ffxiv… Maybe they are waiting for the game to “die” and then do this.

I played FFXI for 12 years and played FFXIV at the original launch you spoke of, when it was so bad they literally brought a comet down in game and ended the world before relaunching it. The difference is Square Enix had the experience and resources to see theor shortcomings and go out and get a new quality director to steer the ship away from the iceberg. At IMC they pride themselves on hitting the icebergs.
For example this morning on Klaipeda we got spammed for several hours with “dear saviors we will be bringing the servers down at 1am edt for our weekly maintenance” messages, its pretty clear that no-one is behind the wheel. The entire game atm is automated, with no oversight, tickets are just met with automated responses, there are literally no GMs, GM Durian has physically visited Klaipeda 6 times since the live launch (1386 hours played I should know) and then hes appeared in chat maybe 5 or 6 other times to only type 1 sentence like “you’ve failed this city” when he quoted arrow, then vanished for another 3 weeks.

its funny that from the screenshot, is that the guy didn’t get banned because he changed jobs, that stuff is actually getting by fine.
but he changed his chaplain to an extra priest circle giving him 4 circles of priest by mistake
if he didn’t make that mistake, he would have been fine.

everyone complaining wanting job change, yet this hack can give them exactly what they want.

squints

So you go after more or less games with lesser protection protocols then. Besides that, it doesn’t make sense to me. There’s no ancedote that could apply here.

Because it more sounds like no matter what you would have still hacked the game because of how they banned a hacker instead of “a glorious freelance coder who helps games out of the goodness of his heart”. Because nobody does that ■■■■ for purely self interest, including this level of malice just because they stepped on your foot and you were tired of it. There’s a missing element here, like you already planned to but afterward you decided to just go ahead anyway.

That said, it doesn’t change that we’re still mismanaged. They do care about the game, but it’s only to just a point where it can be alive but not truly living. It’s like hospital life, basically. Which isn’t fair, but that’s kMMOs being imported into the West/rest of the world for you. Either they’re mismanaged like this game or given to a relevant publisher to manage in which can completely change the game’s interface (Nexon and Aeria, for instance). Very rarely will you get something like Neople, but it’d be nice to get that level of self sufficiency.

wrong is wrong no matter what… you can’t make the wrong thing right just because of your reasons…

you’re still a kid… that’s why you don’t have a clue what is actually going on…

troll? nice try… maybe try harder… kid…

Yeah the anti bot gream reaper system too is a really good job…I saw one in action…bot always returning and kept being killeed. Then after mins…it dissapeared and never returned…so it was banned in that moment? If yes. Really good job imc😄

Edit…just read @Sorien replies…that I completely agree. And imc deserves a poke on the eyeballs fr that…and that ktos kssid as security thing…well…that explains alot too😑…so itos is definitely a dying game…not like ktos…

I am a programmer also…All I can say is. Those lines of codes are really hardcoded in the game…cant really do anything about it…do something and prepare for a massive never ending domino glitch/bugs effect…You think something can be done? No. It is undoable…it looks simple but…it is really undoable…game is as it is.
