Gravity pole crashes game

New update no fix…all they do are just fixing minor bugs which no one care…
And with so many report threads but they still never reply once i guess our suffering wont be end soon…

i know i could just make a different character but that’s not the problem here

this bug has effectively made me stop playing the game

i have not encountered this problem in a while now i dont know if its fixed or wat but if other people i getting it i guess not

Tired of waiting for IMC to investigate this, so did some debugging this morning and I found that this bug is tied to FXAA.

For me, the “Antialiasing - FXAA” setting in NVIDIA Control Panel was the key setting. 90% crashes in prison district 2 with it, 0 crashes without (ran around for about 15 minutes killing stuff). Set it to Off and restart the client.

If anyone could confirm that this works/doesn’t work for them as well, it’d be much appreciated.

Here, it’s already deactivated.
Though I’d say that I have not many crashes in the first place (excluding Demon Prison)…

It mostly happen when Gravity Pole hits too many mobs (dun 240, Earth Tower and major grind spots).

this crash comes full random for me, singel boss fight. heavy pull fight. solo, party… it happens all the time.

any news about fixing this big issue?.._.

I’m going to try it for a while myself, I’m also trying without the addons that I have for counting mobs as well.

Do you use any addons yourself? And is it still not crashing for you?

I think it’s more complicated.
Never had a disconnection in a dungeon until today.
Today in 145 dun :

  • run 1, many crashes we (were two PK) stopped using it
  • run 2, one crash for me (maybe some for the mates), seems companions or cleric spells made some few other crashes.
  • no problem in the four precedent runs previous days.

Just now, Demon Prison D2 :
GP, works, then a Sorc cast summon Servant, Russian Blue starts buff “miaou”, effect near GP, crash.

So I’d rather say that the crashes happen when visual effects are involved (skills, prison D2 have a lot of animations in the BG).
It’s just like the old Touhou bug (that imc wasn’t able to fix).

So far disabling FXAA has been working for me for around a day of gaming.

Other people should try this: go into your graphics settings both in-game and in your NVidia settings (AMD no need at least for me), disable FXAA Anti-aliasing, and restart the game.

Give feedback guys, it MIGHT possibly be the reason people are crashing.

Game still crash all the Time. Disable FXAA in-game and in the NVidia Settings did not help me. i also crash with only 2-3 Enemys on the Screen. So its not like it happens only with a lot of things going on.

Devs need to give this more Attention. Last Night i crashed my full Team in 190 Dungeon…

Ah yeah, and I wouldn’t be surprised if this was related to the servers sucking the more longer they are up.

It’s server side. You can grind in the same place for days without crashing much. But once it gets bad, it can crash you/people nearby with like 50% chance upon casting.

Little to do with number of party members, mobs, skill animations, graphic options.

Removing fxaa does not work.

Yah… disabling FXAA doesn’t work, I was just real lucky that it never happened to me for an entire day of having it disabled.
