[Gold Buyers] Killing the economy & still not banned + Suggestion

It is true that IMC is doing some good work banning bots and gold sellers but the core of the issue is the gold buyers.

The bots are automatically recreated when banned, the gold sellers are just random characters that collect and sell the silver. Every time they are banned, they recreate new characters to do the job and this will be easier when the game will go free to play.

Now the issue is that the gold buyers are the ones that inflate the economy and make it really hard for casual/normal players to keep up with them.

I know it is harder to ban Gold Buyers but they can be easily detected using the following :

  • Sudden increase in Silver on their accounts.
  • Cheap Item sold in the market with an unusual high price.
  • Interaction with Gold Sellers (ex: PM, buyer/seller on market)

[Suggestion]
Now Gold Sellers and Bots use farming mobs as a main source of income. It is easy to create a bot and just kill infinite number of mobs and collect the silver gained.
The reason for this is that mobs drop silver.
The solution for this can take time to apply but it is simple :

  • Remove Silver from mob drops.
  • Lower heavily the price of items sold to NPC.
  • Since removing silver drop from mobs will create a hole in silver income for other players, make quests give high amounts of silver in higher levels instead. Make dungeons harder but give more rewards on boss kills.
  • Of course, disable shout for people under 150 will help but every gold buyer knows how to buy silver currently (website etc…)

This will make the life harder for a gold seller to use bots as Way of income.

Also Any discussion around this matter is welcome.

1- no silver from mobs ?make it hard for every other person, trying to earn their hard working money.
2- more hard dungeons ? People are already crying when they get a party without a healer.
3 - limit global chat for lv 150 below chars…

Well, here is my suggestion for you, shut the duck up, are you 13 or what ?
Grown up kiddo.
I’m not even going to discuss this any further, you obviously have some issues, maybe your parents aren’t giving you enough attention at home.
Try and leave your room for a few hours and see how the world is outside boy.
It’s not that easy to solve things like that, just by making it hard for everyone else.

Bye.

Won’t waste time explaining to people like you. If you read the whole thing you would see that there is a solution for the issues you’ve mentioned. For the shout thing, Everyone on the forums is suggesting it since the current limit is useless.

They won’t ban gold buyers.
They can’t prove that someone is buying fraudulent money.
1- bots/ gold sellers have to buy new access each time they get banned.
1.1: IMC getting more money.

2- players buy silver from sellers, sellers keep motivated to buy another access after being banned.
2.1: again IMC is on still getting more money.

Remove corsair skill… Sorry bro… Game closing… :joy::joy::joy::joy:

First of all, gold buyers don’t inflate the economy do you have any idea what inflation even means? Bots farming 24/7 and getting silver / items, if you’ve seen the 1k hooks being sold in the market now THATS inflation an over excess amount of goods lowering it’s value. Gold buyers buying from bots (assuming you can trade silver which you can’t) is just circulation of currency.

And newsflash, ALL of the sites that are advertised by those bots are scams. The moment a “gold buyer” buys anything from them I wouldn’t be surprised if they can’t log in to their accounts anymore.

PS: The only thing bots are inflating at the moment are basic items like dilgeles, unless they have 30+ bot trains running in high level maps the amount of silver they generate is nowhere near enough compared to the amount of silver being drained by attributes / repairs / enhancements / crafting etc.

Just pointing out that it’s a little confusing when the post is clearly supposed to address the problem of Gold Buyers, yet the suggestion targets Gold Sellers and Bots. Keep it consistent or make it clearer I guess?

If you remove the ways gold sellers get their silver you’re automatically removing gold buyers. Also , I suggested ways to ban the buyers (links wiht gold sellers , selling multiple cheap items with high prices…)

Inflation is increase in market price and decrease in silver value. Which is what happens when items with high prices get easily bought by gold buyers. All the items I saw in first two weeks have higher prices now. I aggree that this leads as well to circulation of silver but it also influences the flow of cash in unatural ways which impacts the gameplay of the casual/normal player.

Can you enlighten me on this skill?

Maybe IMC is focusing on the sellers and bots cause they are making money off the DLCs?
After f2p they might turn against the buyers :stuck_out_tongue:

Go tosbase and study urself

Without RMT we would not have T10 in all the equips

-edit-
Sorry, I did not see it was an old post

Without Dina Bee there would be less gold sellers.

Without RMT we would not have enough players in iToS.

Is this a confession? That the game should be euthanized?
If it can only stay in a crippled alive state with RMT…
