Is this north korea or south korea? I see you guys who repost the same things over and over like to post pics of kim jong-un. Maybe you’re getting your korea’s mixed up.

This games status in Korea is irrelevant if it is well received here.

I am not attempting to defend IMC but I can say that they may have made a game that appeals to a demographics that does not exist in South Korea.

TERA was also a certified failure in its point of origin and western reception kept it upright and profitable.

I know right? I mean, I LOVE mabinogi, i wasted hundreds in the game, and alot of time in it, same as ragnarok, played tons and tons of time, same as tibia (which is not in the list maybe because its not KR) years and years playing these games, But IMO RO > Mabinogi but oh well… still i play games that are fun to me, not the ones that are fun to everyone.

Maplestory #2? like really? the game WAS fun and stuff, but now … oh wel…

Well, it doesn’t matter if the game is on top 100 or not. Game ranks or popularity of the games does not matter as long as I enjoy playing it.

Also, why are you still here? I have checked your previous post and it seems like you stop playing this game first week of April? You’re weird.

Maybe you feel awesome when many people reply on your thread. Kids these days. =)))

Lol really? he might be the “BLABLA Leave the game because i don’t like it BLABLA” typo maybe??? xD

Psssst… Mabinogi KR, not Mabinogi NA (or the old EU). Mabi KR is really different from the NA version and really popular. NA gets only a little part of their content and population, compared to the KR one, is really small.

But I’m pretty surprised. Despite the old graphics, it seems there are more people that appreciate the game.

Also even if my ping is kinda high and I can’t pvp (playing from EU) freely, can’t join the banquet or live events, I am still playing it because of the music, story, community and content. You shouldn’t understimate the game or the community, bro xD

That’s true, I played in Mabinogi NA but have seen some Mabinogi KR, although, for both of them i think their community is pretty warm, even had a guild with 30 members all random, pretty fun and diverse game. how bad that MabiNA is hella bugged xD

It is hard to compete with older games. We will also need a lot of other features to keep ppl entertained but that can come with time.

I just hope ToS will survive till it can get strong enough because it has a rly nice base and it has all the potential to be great.

@acolyte I know that’s not what your post is about but Mabinogi is an awesome game… It will always have a special place in my heart like Ragnarok X)… But the latency because I’m from EU, the fact that my friends don’t play it…it’s endlessness and the feel that I feel like I can’t reach the level of other players ever slowly killed it for me. But it always will be one of my top games.

Because if a korean MMO dies in korea, you can forget about any substantial updates.

I’m in a guild for new players, helping them and having fun at the same time. It is truly nice being in a guild without restrictions for players. Tir Chonaill is our in-game home lol.

Also I LOVE the game for its bugs. I mean… I can’t stop laughing when I see my character rotating his head at 360 degrees rofl.

Like Ragnarok 2 ?? LOL

D’awwww :NostalgiaMode=ON: xDD loved tir chronaill, left the game because for a year or so, there were no updates and same past events being recycled, i think i left the game at like… 6,000 total level approx, other game i liked alot was Runescape and Tibia, but friends moved on to other games and i followed them up and being a solo-player is not that fun for me :stuck_out_tongue:

Bro, play with me lol

that game does not exists :stuck_out_tongue:

It won’t be the case here because IMC themselves released our version too. So if it would die in Korea but it would survive here they could easily continue update this version imo…or at least I hope so…

yeah pretty much, although, people want changes like NOW NOW NOW or RIOT, while gameplay is important, i think it is more important to solve Botting and some other issues first, then you can improve things (that’s why probably 1:1 non-token trade has not been implemented yet)

That is true, I really was thinking at this… The developers are also the publishers, so it shouldn’t be a problem. The only scenario I can imagine is IMC having its morale down and slowing iToS’ pace too.

Well… Thank you, Google Translate.
