Game is dead on ITOS, time to release R8-R9

I think the game is not dead, just the hardcore, level-rushing players think it’s dead. iTOS should have nerfed the exp rate to the ground. Also, reduce the exp cards (keep the quests line intact though) and spare the high level maps for future coming releases (like 1-2 maps per month/patches or so).

I wish the newly released of iTOS should have be like Maplestory (before Big Bang). Everything was so hard to level, and people actually have to party & grind for MONTHS to level up in small but crowded maps. Instead, iTOS gives us a tremendous map, quest & exp card systems that now makes everything easy (you can basically solo questing and grinding thus makes the game somewhat “boring”?!?) / Butt-hurt rushing players will just keep saying “nothing else to do, nothing else to play”. LOL!!!

Man, I love Maplestory a few years back so much. I pretty much had to do party quests for a whole month just to get from lv 30->50. Everything seems too easy now.

wow what server r u on? on klaipeda i ony see bots on grind maps and cities

We don’t need R8-R9 when people can’t even do ET past floor 5.

We need PvP/GvG arena, and progression content such as transcendence system, card system, etc.

We need balanced content/classes.

We need events.

We need more quests for players that do not wish to grind to cap.

We need more silver gain so players can progress feasibly.

We need bug fixes for current content (et floor 7 bug/etc).

All of these things have happened in kToS.

What we do not need, is new ranks and a higher level cap. Not till the current content is polished, and people can even complete current content.

At least with that much, it should be easier for more people to do ET, as well as enjoy PvP.

No, just no. They need to fix the major bugs and optimize the latency on this game before releasing any new content. I thought Gravity was bad with RO, but IMC is taking it to a new level.

But I’m only 200. ~~~~~

Fedimian started to look better, more people started to open for a chit chat and everyone is busy. I think you shouldn’t hurry.

Note: This is in my opinion. lol

Most of the time its not downplaying. Back a month ago atleast, there were close to zero bots at 180/200+. (apart from the odd player bot)

seriously. solving the RMT issue will solve the Bot issue. the only people left who will bot after RMT is solved are the lazy people and not the goldsellers.

but i dont have any idea how to do it so im not much of a help. im just really hoping for RMTers to get struck by lightning.

only people who will bot are not gold sellers ?
you are totally wrong, if talking about bot 95% are gold seller and 5% are lazy people who don’t care about their account got ban or not

you clearly misunderstood what i said. ima edit it for clarity

Update and synchronize iToS according to kToS current version/patch - which im sure that’s a very easy thing to do, just copy-&-past or number-tweak level of modification - would bring back some players and keep others in the game. But seems that they literally forgotten about us; no events, no balance, almost no GM’s online, just some not-critical-bug fixing and loading screens.

probably their translation department is really slow.

and for godsakes there are no fvcking events in this game. like wth man. atleast give us an EVENT. like kill a number of stuff and get something. like a hat or anything. =.=" events are one of the things which make MMORPGS exciting and fun to play.

Or they don’t care.

3 Months without changes… slow indeed.

Well, if this is the problem, then they should use the profit from the founders pack (probably a considerable profit) to hire translators, like a true business, and not depend only on volunteers (no offense).

Do you want me to make a video recording and retrace my steps? I love Tree of Savior more than most of the whiners on this forum and not trying to lie or discredit it. If you make a new character and hit up every zone and side zone from levels 1-90 you will see bots in every zone except the zones with super low mob density.

They are named like players and dressed in TP shop clothes so at first glance you can assume it’s just a player as you’re passing through. Try to annoy them with trade window spam / talk to them and/or just follow them around noticing their set path. Even timed jumped intervals.

Not every botter is an RMTer either. The game seems to have a lot of “casual botters” who are just botting so they can farm while they aren’t playing. Not easy to see if you aren’t paying attention to your surroundings.

Dead? Tesliai and varena crowded as ■■■■…

On the contrary, they need to remove those unnecessary quests and turn this game into an adventure/exciting game. There are other games with like 20-30 quests overall and we didn’t have the need to be an errand boy or have a third-party program to “progress.” Ragnarok Online did it well and it gave birth to an amazing storyline. This game’s storyline would be so much better if it wasn’t forced down our throats with useless quests that do not support in any way our heroic state of mind.

Also, they need to raise open world EXP so we can stop relying on doing dungeons that have no personality or anything interesting about it. Why can’t I enter a dungeon where I can feel the vibe or thematic elements all over the place? It’s just another get-me-there run just for a carrot on a stick reward over and over again.

I do agree with you when you mention we need a PvP/GvG arena. This game’s PvP is just not feasible at the moment. It needs a lot of improvement, just like “guild wars.”

I partly agree with you Lunalepsy. While I enjoy the questing, I also miss some sort of open world function. Also, there aren’t many quests where you actually need a party.

When more players join and reach the level cap, they should slowly open more and more ‘open fields’. In the current maps there are many open ends and paths that end in an invisible wall.

I think it would be fun if they didn’t actually announce where the new spots are. Instead people should try to find these open-ended spots and discover them. With the amount of maps this game has, it could be really difficult and could actually turn into a big ‘hunting/finding’ event.

I somewhat agree.

But at the same time, I think they’ll retain the largest audience/profits by doing what they are already seem to be planning to do, where there are quests to a point and then it’s a general grind.

I think an amazing story line would be great like RO, but it’s a little too late for something like that.

If they raise the cap, they don’t need to add quests, and leave it at quest’s to 280 for newer players to catch up and do what they are doing now where they slowly add quests to the next eventual level cap.

I don’t think open world EXP requires a change really, just the spawn of open world mobs, and there should be more maps with high EXP modifiers so people travel to other maps to grind instead of just 1 map at every level range. You should be able to grind OR quest, not quest and then grind because questing is infinitely better. But I don’t think raising the exp of all mobs is the best solution to that.

You raise a good point on dungeons, but I think the game by design makes dungeons a poor mechanic less treasure run. If they can change it, great for them and us, but I just don’t see it happening in the near future.

As for PvP arena’s, the balances is… getting there in kToS. GvG arena has a lot to be desired. If anything, it’s something else to do, and while they both do have a lot to desire, the best way to get feedback is to open it up to us when it’s at a state that’s a little more than just playable.
