May be you should learn how to read properly.
Before bashing someone for words taken out of context, read the whole thing…

I said precisely that I am FINE with the way it was before the event and I am AGAINST this ■■■■.

It should not be easily accessable.

Kids this days don’t read

Yeah, casual with 7% improvement.

Lucky me. Just add 30 USD to buy some TP.
And this event come. So bye then. Gonna buy some game on Steam instead.

Doesn’t matter this is just the starting of the game turning into "Casual"state…

Those who think gems prices might be stablise.

Wait till lectia cube activate the second tier or market changing destruction.

Eventually every end game content will turn pointless as this game is casual and does not really reward you for long involvement in the game.
So it’s best to draw lines and reference to KTOS what’s happening.

Play the game for social involvement with your peers or group instead at this point then thinking of it competitive.

Clearing ET is also pointless when you can just sit out for the next tier of armors getting release.

ET is tedious and boring. Other than Esweg and meta gaming composition of team work. It’s pretty much rip.

Since all New Oranges are nearly better for 90% of the classes. Rofl.

I’m having fun looking at weekly Tree of Forums dramas :sparkles:

This event proves one thing: TOS is intended to be a casual trashy f2p game, don’t treat it as serious and put in effort or you will be IMC’ed in the future :grinning:

All those time spent farming evac uphill etc. loooooooooooooooool ya all got IMC’ed

Somehow I feel compelled to like this. I think if I treat this game seriously, I would have left months back. I still put in effort though, just approach with the mindset that everything will be changed and nothing is forever. It kind of lessens the pain a little.

I learned that years ago from playing f2p mmorpgs.

Glad you have wisened up to this genre.

Pretty much never buy the hype, even if you have some nostalgia for the title. Expect everything to crash relatively quick compared to the hype. (Also a note, when I say crashed; I mean it becomes a small playerbase niche game. Those players in the game most likely, like the game and have fun; but they dont live up to the hype and lose #s quickly)

Here is someone trying to sell hype on a new f2p mmorpg. It’s hilarious.

Be warned ToS players, this will be the next hyped crashed title in the f2p mmorpg genre.

Is it possible to suffer a worse crash than TOS? I dont think so.

Allods online.

Done. Next.

(From your own perspective, youve maybe never heard or tried that game. So maybe not. But from a wider gamer perspective, there it is)

More recent game in general across all genres, No mans sky. Done. Next.

Guess if we stay in the genre. Most recent that comes to mind. Wildstar. More hyped, little more appealing to western cultures of gaming, fell on it’s face.

FPS, most recent Battleborn.

And all these games are still kicking. Even with such crashes they find a way.

Allods were SO GOOD before p2w… sad

In all honesty, I found that game to be so unique. The endgame, building my own astral ship, flying it through the astral with my crew; fighting other ships, jumping on their ships PVPn and stealing their boat and crashing it, Jumping from allod (dungeons) to allod. That games gameplay was awesome.

BUT alot of it was heavily tied into how strong you were and the advantages from the CS were way too large to ignore. I had to give it up.

Sad ending to a game that TRUELY had huge hype but also wonderful potential (TOS has charm to me, but lacks the content allods eventually had. TOS imo would always be a niche game in the west, due to it’s art style. SEA and SA I believed itd be alright, they like these games. No one I knew growing up even knew or knows what Ragnorak Online even is). Damn you gpotato and mail.ru.

Oh I am right there with you on the astral ships… we spent months doing that… but I played in RU region and mail.ru ruined cash shop as they always do

And you see the disaster that happens there. A free market in the world is fundamentally different than a free market in a virtual environment because a game is meant to be equal opportunity.

Also, people can quit the game, but they can never run away from a real free market. So why would you destroy your virtual market and drive away the population?

Cause we talk about IMC!
It is their job to get the population IMC’ed!
They try so hard to empty the servers, this event is just another step.
