He could have all gears in the world, lets say that person had +40 enhanced armors too(just to really add up more defenses), the +30 defense from the mount is still minimal extra mitigation.
If a mount gave for example +30 fire damage, that would be another story.
Today only 30, in a few months is 300…500 def/mdef…

p2w is a word used when u actually win or have to buy it in order to progress.
in this game nothing is needed to progress. u dont have to pay for anything.
and in this case its called Pay for convience. not Pay to win. since it doesnt win u anything. if you cry about this u should really just leave and play nothing.

In a dream world, sure, everyone has the exact same gears. Lets say there was no cash shop at all, people would still not have the exact same gears.
There are always diffrences.
Lets say 2 players, exact same build, and they are so Similar in playstyle that they literally mirror eachother, maybe then the +30 def would do a difference, but do you realize how small chance such battle to happen?
Edit: this is an MMO this game isnt the first to introduce “mild p2w” If you want equal contest against other players, go try street fighter or someting that doesnt require you to gear up before you fight.
What do you expect from F2P games? All F2P games are Pay to Win. Remove cash shop and go Pay to Play. You still complain about Pay to Play.
If you don’t want F2P Pay to Win or Pay to Play then I guess you have to stop playing MMORPG’s and go back to playing console games.

You can’t even fight while mounted except for Cata and SRs who will definitely use this mount for the small extra def.
If people actually really finished Earth Tower thanks to the bonus from this mount, then I’ll join the anti-P2W parade.
