I decided that the cost of anvils ( 300 silver) and failing was not worth the:
-
easy to obtain light anvil seeing that I get plenty from uphill
-
largely unnecessary silver anvils due to the recent cheaper upgrade cost
-
easy to obtain by simply killing stuff and already owned multiple golden anvils
-
near impossible chance of obtaining a +25 for the diamond anvil
so for me this event is about getting the cookies and the exp buff. I just don’t like the feeling I get when I get that “fail”. but since you asked I think I got to a +9 before I realized that the silver was not worth the rewards that could be obtained.
I blame my arti snake rod. it’s not a big deal to most but I put two lv 6 blue gems in that thing and then only got to +6 by the time I got down to 0 potential ( think I had to use 1 gold anvil on it lol). it feels bad. I was thinking I would get that baby to +16 for a twink weapon for saalus runs on alts. oh well, gonna try again with lv 5 gems + 170 unique weapons, blues almost don’t seem worth it anymore… I love the way that higher grade items get better stats with anvil enhancements.
also I have played way too much pokemon trading card game for the gameboy. so sick of seeing the coin flips being so random. I understand the reality of 50/50 chance. getting your weapon downgraded and losing potential is a painful sacrifice. + 11 is probably always what I will settle for.

I got +6 after lost all the potential. Nice luck for me. Maybe that FPS drop cause me the failed.
Hm…I think this event doesn’t cost much silver. Each anvil is 300 silver and you need around 15k silver to buy 50 anvil to have fun.
The exp buff is quite useless for who is lv330 like me but cookies can be saved to use later on rank 9 grind/dungeons. 5cookies can be considered as a x4 exp Tome.
For the leaf, it is mostly for fun 
however I still think that +25 is too high for diamond anvil. It should be +20 or +21 only, and yes, light anvil is pretty useless.

yeah I just think that no rewards are worth it since only the diamond anvil has any real worth. you are right though, 15k silver is almost nothing at all in this game so it should be about fun and luck… 
I got +25 on first and + 13 on second…

I got +10 with no fails, then decided the time and money invested is not really worth it. Only really for the EXP buff, but all my characters are max level or only a couple of levels away.

Today, I was chilling and eating popcorn at Klai when I saw the man himself; RNGesus in the flesh.
He was newbie or something so he didn’t have any use of his diamond anvil (rip). Legit saw this guy take that clover from 0 - hero with my own 2 eyes. Amazing, I didn’t even feel slightly salty…I was just plainly amazed.

Explain with what bug do you sharpen up to +25 losing 1-2 potential? I do not believe that with such a random one can so lucky, it would have long been running around with 315 +25 cannons) Do not scorch but apparently know the bugs)
