I was just wondering why anyone would watch it to begin with, like the people that used to spam shout begging for twitch views. Have you actually played ToS, its the only 100% solo mmorpg out there, a dead game where we log in to run our dungeons alone for silver, do our 3 silaui missions in 15min, where we basically just cuss at 4 random strangers b/c they afk’d for 13 of those 15 mins and we then spend 10 min doing 2 saalus missions. Why the fk would I wanna watch someone else do this, unless you are trying to record and post pvp/gvg footage, if that’s the case LOL, 3/4 ppl in pvp are using hook64 and just 1 shotting people with auto attacks, save your time, we don’t need movies of this train wreck.

However the thing only pays every 1k views and it’s like 5 dolars if I’m not wrong. Honestly I don’t think I’ll be making money off those videos. I’m just doing it for fun right now. xD (Even tho I am currently unemployed and it would help for sure)
That’s the beauty of this idea.
People that don’t play the game but would love to see it fixed will want to follow News of Savior so that eventually I might bring them good news.
Or tell them to lose all hope cause it’s going down. Either way it’s not a stream nor a gameplay video, I’ll bring all the past’s weeks updates and topics in a compact no longer than 10 minutes tops depending on how many topics there are to discuss.
But yeah I respect your opinion, reason why I started this already aware that I’m probably insane for putting a lot of effort to make content to a “dead” game.

Is the Honey dumpling =/= Sweet dumpling?
From the event page, it says “The effect of Jumbo Dumpling that can be obtained from ‘Taoist’s Secret Recipe’ event will not stack with the effects of Honey Dumpling.” If they are not the same, that means Honey dumpling is only obtainable from the cash shop?
Honey dumpling is a cash item from exp boost pack.
EDIT: Yes, not same. only obtainable.
@trinityx94 EDIT2: IMC didn’t state it but fat chance it is OP buff. They even highlighted rmb to activate buff to ensure all members receive and it doesn’t stack.

What effect does the Honey Dumpling gives?
I was talking about both Event dumplings (Sweet Dumpling and Jumbo Dumpling).
I didn’t mention the Honey Dumpling in the video at all but I get the dumpling confusion you had going on. xD
Since it’s a weekly retrospective, the quick spin bit about the Q&A means that IMC’s Weekly Q&A was already live at that given time.
I was thinking on making another segment where I’d talk about the Q&A’s content. That’d be interesting but I don’t think I’d have material to work with aside from pure gameplay which might be kinda boring.
I’ll sketch some stuff up and see what I can do, maybe post a test run on a Q&A discussion video this Wednesday.

You should cash shop item previews if possible and maybe interview guild leaders looking for members at some points. Or even better yet a random player.

i know you just want something to watch while listening to you talk, but random mission video is just white noise and white visual because its nothing worth looking at.
probably too much work, but maybe just have sloppily created animations or crude 3d modeling like those chinese or korean summary reports of american news
Honestly this is something I can debate. The audio is a fair point reason why I reduced it to nearly zero. But the gameplay video on the background just gives the eye something to look at. It’s actually something I’m using from many other very successful “talking only” videos on youtube.
I was thinking about getting community videos too. So if you guys want to send me some stuff in a decent quality I’d be glad to use it. It only needs to be 10 minutes long more or less so I can work around moments with no movement.
Infographs get repetitive really fast and I can’t make humor about what’s happening in the gameplay if it happens to have something funny happening.
Maybe you probably don’t realize how hard it is to make an interesting video with still images.
the mission video makes me tune everything out even more.

Everyone does this thing hundreds of times as a habit or chore for the easy exp or silver, that their eyes just gaze over, especially if they have multiple characters.
Any video even if its background noise, this is the last thing they want to see a second more of in their tos life.
Maybe different stuff like soloing dungeons.
hell, even gameplay of other random games as different simulation.

I won’t be doing like Leafy or other smack talking youtuber that uses CS stuff on the background. I’ll keep using ToS but I’ll do different stuff everytime. Like I already did in my Random Talk video. Just chill, we’re just starting.

A suggestion, it will be really great if you can add a little tips & tricks section at the end of each episode, something that will keep the playing players interested too.
Example:
Tip: As SP potions are getting more expensive in marketplace, here is a list of locations where a player can get daily free SP potions from gimmick rewards.
