I felt the same way about building a tank, then I quickly realized my only use is swashbuckling… hooray for good game design :slight_smile: the game is in a sad state, don’t get your hopes up.

Now stay away from the forums, and you will enjoy the game.

anyway some leveling advice.

  1. Do all kill counts from the first map you are in to the last
  2. Explore all the maps 100%
  3. in city there is a feather lady which gives you exp cards for doing 1/2 check up on her whenever you completed a bunch of 1/2
  4. do all quests, save up as many cards as you can for moments when you don’t got a high enough level to do maps
  5. stay within 5 levels of a map for max exp, 10 levels is also doable above its a waste
  6. if you do 1, you will have no silver issue’s farm to level 60 and buy a token from the market ( got already 1 million on level 76 ) “token = premium” so you can actually use the market etc.
  7. use this map, map for tree of savior

  1. start in klaipeda, but make sure you go to osha the moment you hit the klaipeda ( starter area etc, check 7 for map ) so you get max exp out of it and stay in line of that map range. Switch between those city’s so you don’t end up being lvl 50 and have lvl 2-20 maps on that side which won’t give you any exp aymore.

  2. when level 50 do dungeons, and lvl 100 also do missions with it. Massive exp / silver boost for free.

  3. enjoy the game.

If you want to be a swordsman, peltesta c1 is a must! Do not care about the builds that does not include peltesta.

…Unless you’re into PvP, then highly consider Swordsman 3. Highlander 3 is good too but most I see take 1 circle of Pelt with it. You will have a harder time getting parties 200+, but it’s not as bad as some people make it out to be. Just be prepared for rejection from time to time.

Think imma level a DPS swordsman with no pelt and jump on this hype train to see how it goes with this new patch. Gonna go 150% “EFF YOU” Deeps and life will be great… or life will be bad.

I have a Swordsman 2 Fencer and a Pelt 1 Fencer. Honestly I’ve never had a hard time either way, but I haven’t gotten my S2 Fencer above 200+, and that’s where you usually see the “need taunt S2 need not apply” factor. It’s just meta lovers.

Listen to hienng, thsi forums is cancer is like they havent play any mmos in their lives and complain (and cry a lot)about everything, and each one wants his problem solved in five minutes. people saying that the game is dead because his bots accounts got banned etc.

Tree of Savior basically is Ragnarok with jump button, Good music just like RO, similar style and aesthetics, a lot of classes and each of them offer something unique (this is what IMC planned.)

It still have many flaws, balance problems and lack of contents,…etc… However IMC told us they care about the game and they will work hard to improve it. So keep playing and be patience, It will keep getting better when IMC solve all these core issues.

Pretty much. This is where it helps to make friends though. Friends who won’t give a crap how meta your character is and will grind with you anyway. You’ll always find those elitist who won’t grind for days because they can’t find a Chronolinker or a Pelt when you could just grind anyway and just screw all.

Also pls no don’t tell people about Highlander being actually pretty good. It’s a secret of utility. :zipper_mouth:

@FlanFlan Godspeed. I thought about doing it for my Fencer, but I can’t escape Pelt. I need that additional Evasion yo, more wholesome over C1 Barb’s crit.
