Question, friends

Does it negate only the shield’s defense? or the whole shield itself? meaning if I had a ledas, would it also negate the +ice damage? and would negating the shield make it so that you are unable to use shield based skills?

Also isnt it a bit unfair to shield fencers if it negates the shield as a whole? while Dag fencers retain their bonuses without the drawbacks? shouldnt it atleast disable the offhand item as a whole if thats the case?

if it does negate the shield, does this mean that we are now eligible to use aggression att?

I don’t have actual sources, I might research it when I can. But, what we really have for now is the player base translation from the skill which is:

Neutralizes the physical defense from the shield equipped

I’m pretty sure it’s referring only to the defense value.

Thanks mate, yeah thats what confused me actually, one translation (both from tos forums) said that it only neutralizes shield defense, while another said that it fully negates the whole shield and its stats
