Yes it does.

Im not sure if u answered to me. About 1h… But if u does, highlander have great attribute for 2H (+50% to critical attack) but it’s all. All skills (but cross guard that u can just pass through) are for any weapon set.
nah man i was just saying in general why you pick fencer as a tank, since theres really not much else to pick at rank 6-7 if you dont want to kill urself slowly as a squire
I was thinking if you choose Peltasta c3 not just for tanking but for the utility (armor break, etc.) you can still end up with a offensive build, although it won’t be that great. This will allow you to switch between DPS for soloing and tank for grouping. Stat wise would be very balanced, like 1:1:1 STR/DEX/CON
C1 Peltasta is enough for overall tanking. Most damagers take 1 for swashbucling, +25% health, guard and guardian.
C2 actually doesn’t give us that much: more SB, abit more blocking tankiness, less damage. Compating to C1 it’s not that cool.
C3 givies abit more blocking tankiness and and Umbo Thrust.
So Full peltasta is focused on blocking and very low damage dealing, almost none, except for focusing C3 for Umbo Thrust. So the overall C3 pelta is actually like a blocking full CON tank or pvp hybrid.
The thing is this description is actually on wiki but not in the game.
Have found a video of peltasta getting cap block at 52 level, so the stats could change from that time and the info can be old.
Should double check when will be in game.
i don’t know if you need so much con. you get a ton more block from the blocking stance (and higg guard is no much use either), and having a larger hp pool is only more convenient if you’re getting a lot of damage. if the magic is too strong you’ll need a healer then you may as well make constant use of them; so just keep laying down tiles rather than waiting for your hp to drain, or between each round of enemies.
c3 is good if you want to max c3, umbo thrust definetely adds some. not sure c2 is worth much. obviously circle 3 is only useful if you have aoe mages to hit all those enemies.
Am I taking crazy pills or do Lunge and Equive Toucher not work at all in iTOS as far as evasion bonus goes anyway?
Anyway, flanconnade makes you invincible. Just stand in front of your mission boss or whatever and use it when it swings. Learn provoke 10 and it seems you don’t need swash buckling for this purpose.
Fencer is mostly for adding single target dps while holding aggro on a boss.
Since if you don’t block/dodge boss hits, you get knocked around without pain barrier on. Fencers can tank bosses while being able to dps while Pain Barrier is on cooldown due to increased evasion and block from their skills.
That said, it is a very niche role. Any Swordsman with Peltasta 1 can tank bosses, but they probably need to hold down guard to avoid damage and can only really dps with Pain Barrier up.
For any other situation, Dragoon and Doppel 2 are better.
