I’m also getting this on top of the ETC_20150918_014643 error that some people are getting.

EDIT: Fixed the NODATA problem by redownloading the entire “release” folder. The other error still persists though.

replace the text that is similar to this in ur user.xml that can be found here:
Steam\steamapps\common\TreeOfSavior\release

<Sound TotalVolume="255" SoundVolume="255" MusicVolume="50" Language=""/>

I discovered how to end the problem of $ NODATA .

Just enter the game, go to the options and click twice on the American language !

(EN) - Guys, if for some reason this is happening , the solution is quite easy.

Press ’ ’ ESC ‘’ , then select the gear ( purple icon) , the last option is the choice of language , choose English and ’ voila ’ , everything will return to normal.

(PT-BR)Pessoal, se por alguma razão isto estiver acontecendo, a solução é bastante fácil.

Pressione ‘‘esc’’, então selecione a engrenagem (ícone roxo), a última opção é a escolha da Linguagem, escolha inglÊs e ‘‘voila’’, tudo voltará ao normal.

delete user.xml work here. =D
