Hey guys, just curious what kind of gaming set-up everyone is running who will be playing this game.

Myself:

1TB Samsung EVO 850 SSD
256 GB Corsair SSD
32 GB DDR 4 Corsair Dominator Quad Channel RAM

A bit about myself:
I’m in the Navy and have been for some time now. My job is an IT on submarines…and when I’m not on the boat or in the gym, I’m usually doing stuff with or to my computer…or building gaming computers for other people.

Here’s a few pictures of my rig:

A 6yo Lappy  It runs the game fine amazingly lol. I only really have issues when there are a ton of people in the same area like when iCBT was ending and everyone was in Klaipedia.

Here’s the old forum post of everyone’s gaming setups:

Here’s mine:

There’s already a thread for this =p

@Excellence I think your approach in building gaming computers can already be considered art

I’m in college and I don’t want to invest in a tower just yet but my College gives anyone who doesnt have a laptop a free rental till they graduate. (It’s a well known university with lots of funding).

Other than simulations and programming, i use it primarily for gaming. It’s pretty hilarious how good the specs are for a free laptop- so I haven’t even considered buying my own until I graduate :PPPPP.

Laptop : Latitude E6430
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-3540 CPU @ 3.00GHz
RAM: 8GB
OS: Win 7 64bit
500GB HD

Not really complaining since its 2 years old already and its still running like a tank.

Well, someone’s gotta post this monster in threads like this.

Much appreciated Kabuz.

  • Processor: Intel i7-3770k 4.0 Ghz
  • GPU: XFX R9 390 Double Dissipation
  • Memory: 8gb DDR3 1800
  • Webcam: Canon t3i DSLR
  • Mouse: SteelSeries Sensei (Matte)
  • Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2014

My R9 390’s been giving me trouble though (Damn you amd…). I need to swap it out for a 980ti… soon i hope!

That’s why it’s not running! Your ram isn’t installed correctly!

It looks delicious. :sweet_potato:

Look into getting into liquid cooling if you plan on getting a 980TI. It isn’t a hot card by any means but it’ll make it easier to add a second one in the future.

Yeah i’m thinking about it. Just a little scared because of my lack of knowledge of the whole setup process.

If you have any questions on how to do it, just ask!

It’s a lot easier to build one than it used to be.

Is it? I know they have premade ones. But I was looking into a open loop custom one, but there’s so much information and stuff its a little overwhelming. Some radiators look cool but I’ve read reviews on some and they have scared me away. Anything you can vouch for or recommend?

A lot of the newer parts…(anything to have come out within the past 3 years) for liquid cooling are incredibly reliable. I recommend EKWB, Swiftech, Enzo, XSPC, and SOME Corsair liquid cooling parts. Stay away from the cookie cutter brands like Thermaltake and Koolance for liquid cooling. Their all-in-one parts are OK but there’s better options out there.

My build is predominantly EKWB - EKWB waterblock on my processor, chipset, and both my Titan X gfx cards. No leaks so far.
I have an XSPC dual-bay res and an EKWB res hanging next to the motherboard. Both have Swiftech pumps they use.

The radiators are copper Swiftech - 2x 120 rad in the bottom and 3 x 120 rad in the top.

EDIT: @WatchGintama Niceeee. That SNES controller is a nice touch. I should probably do a PC Part Picker on my build too.

Thanks. It’s a USB Snes controller  I need to try TOS with it sometime
