I’d love one because I had mine expire way way early. I got it in the 1hr window before the event ended, got up in the morning to use it and it said it had 15hrs or so left, then logged out, and back in and it started at 59 seconds and counted down and expired… lol I was so pissed my Character is lvl 307 and basically useless.
Demn, at least Archer tree(Musk&Cannon) are more or less still viable to play rainbow, the lack of Kneeling for a Cannoneer is a bit of a drag, but still.
If this happened to another class tree they’re as good as dead.

Well i just want rank reset on cash shop. Game is so easy to lvl now that i dont see a problem with it.

I was only able to play less than half the event at 1-2 hours those days and i had no problem working my ■■■■ out in that time and being aware of when it ended

While i do agree that IMC should at least consider the possibility of giving everyone a free rank reset because of the ninja class patches which are very poorly timed (having a class reset event but right after the event change skills… not very well planned, IMC! ), most of these changes are bug fixes so people who built their characters around these obvious bugs have no one to blame but themselves.
Also, i must say to all the people who complain about having screwed up because of the maintenance times :
If it’s written “the event lasts until the beginning of the maintenance of the day X” then there is no way how this can be misunderstood and if you missed your chance to reset to your proper build before the maintenance then it’s entirely your fault for you doing poor planning.
And even if you work 28 hours a day and oh-no-have-no-time, then be a smart adult and change to your proper builds 1~2 days before the maintenance starts so even if the worst-case-scenario happens you have no time during the next few days because of “muh real lifez” you’d still be safe.
Thinking, taking responsibility for your own actions and simple planning ahead for worst-case-scenarios… it’s not that hard.

@thebloodyaugust Nice putting words in my mouth. Could you at least quote the right sentance, you’re just showing how you are intellectually dishonest with that kind of behavior. If you think doing a maintenance during the morning while saying the event is the 16 to the 30 that’s up to you, reality is showing most of game companies are not stupid and they make their maintenance during the morning the day after the end of the event to avoid any time zone problems. It’s cool for you if you had the time, I had not the time and didn’t know when the maintenance was so, it doesn’t really change anything.
If you know when it started, I knew it started the 16 and so what ? Why are they unable to write the period of maintenance instead of saying it’s shceduled ? Why do they announce the time of maintenance the same day the event is over ? You’re all assuming you had to know the exact time of maintenance without IMC communcation while telling me I should be aware by reading news. Nowhere in news they say the time the maintenance starts except the news from the 30, which is the day of closure. Pure proof of bad faith here.
As I already said, I took the 3 last days to figure out what build I could go with my two characters, because I had other characters to work on, and had not enough time for the two last characters. I stated I just needed 3 days, and it’s quit true, because with the last day I had the perfect build for my Sword and my Archer, I was just unlucky.
If you don’t think IMC should change their way to communicate nor the time of maintenances, then we are done here. No need to swallow it all.

I think IMC should give a free reset on the basis of “It won’t hurt anyone, but it’ll help a few people”
…even if I do agree it’s those peoples’ fault for relying on a bug in some cases (in others, like the slithering nerf, that’s not their fault). I just believe that whether or not it’s their fault isn’t as important as whether or not IMC and the game retains their business and good will for basically no cost on IMC’s end.

All this drama cos’ one guy didn’t read the length of event period in patch notes.
It was two weeks of free reset, and can’t even give 30min/day of game time to test builds?
Most would’ve agreed if he was mad about the ninja patch later after the reset.

If you take a look at past patchnotes you’ll notice maintenace usually starts at 1:00 or 22:00 EDT. So to be safe one should make sure to finish any event buisness before these times.
I know it would be better if they wrote the maintenance time in the patch notes immediately when they post the patch notes and that they should communicate better, but if you take a look at past patch notes it’s not impossible to derive when you should finish up your last rank reset. It’s not like they start the maintenance at some different randomly chosen time every week. So yea, they should communicate better, but at the same time it was not impossible to know when they’d start their maintenance.

Its not 1 server. I am in pretty much all community ToS discord out there. If i am missing any server then do tell me and invite me in.
My suggestion is for IMC to change the event times to use unix timestamp/UTC and state the event total period in seconds. Also include a countdown timer in the website.
Eg. Reset Event. Starts UTC 0:00:01 16th May, ends in 1209600 seconds.
IMC’s current gesture to help players by converting maintenance times to a locality which are convenient to players are not working for some of us apparently. Attribute it to players deeming the day part of the time more important than the hour, which leads to misinterpretation due to timezone differences. Detailing it right down to the seconds will resolve all these issues and we wouldn’t have complains like such. :3
