I vote for Germany aswell.
Germany, of course! Frankfurt is a good spot.
I’d prefer Germany (Frankfurt). They have the most servers in europe and also the worlds biggest network node (CIX).
I’m playing from Sweden!
West coast Washington State over here.
From Malaysia here
New England area in the U.S.!
I’m from Malaysia. Hopefully, there will be a server closer to my location
I think that Germany (Frankfurt) would be the best. Playing from Estonia.
Playing from Sydney Australia, the most neglected and remote to any service place
Playing from SG
I will be playing from thai, hoping for a SEA server to reduce the latency.
Hi Staff Julie
I and a group of friends will be playing from Australia, and I believe other MMO/gaming companies have servers based in Sydney here.
Frankfurt best option
Playing from Australia.
Please consider the following besides looking at your current sales data from steam ;
-
SEA/Asia will likely be more F2P players, helping your game stay afloat by expanding user-base ; albeit possibly purchasing shop stuff down the line.
-
A lot of the players that are even vaguely interested, with a bit of research, can easily see we’re going to deal with 200-400ms depending on region - they are waiting for Founders month to end to see how tolerable it is before becoming apart of your sales data.
-
It’s well known that server hosting is expensive in AUS (this may not be the case anymore with amazon-sydney?) so Singapore may be an option too…
-
SEA players will arrive after founder’s month, but will leave shortly after if they aren’t accommodated by at least 1 server giving them 100~ms
Overall, i know this is all before-the-fact, but hopefully the people you have to take this information too can see the point i’m trying to get across. it would be a huge mistake to not support SEA/OCE in a game like this.
From Russia i have lowest ping to Amsterdam and Frankfurt
from the uk. Germany is a good server place.
Brazil. Hope for ok pings or a SA server in the future maybe =D
Playing from New Zealand.
From france ! <3 Thx for this
