EU Server Location

It’s Easter most people are celebrating it now with family, most europeon players value this alot. Maybe thats why there are not that many replies yet even though some people from outside Europe could view this topic.

Hi there,

I will be playing from Germany and would obviously love to see an European server in the future. Best location would be “western” Europe, I would prefer Germany as location

Frankfurt would be great as for me with ping ~50-60.

Playing from FInland, and honestly any major server location in EU would be fine. France, Germany, Netherlands… the distance difference is pretty small so they all offer good ping in the 50ms region.

I guess Germany would be optimal choice. Playing from Russia.

On a side note, wouldnt it be satisfying and cost effective for SEA players to have another dedicated server in South Korea since all infrastructure is already there and location is somewhat close?

Usually France or Germany have a nice ping from here

if they would ask for a server in SEA

i would suggest SG as the server location

we in PH have good connection there and also in other country. if you place it on korea i think we will get 150-200 there so yeah it is cost effective but we would rather play on NA than in korea if it is above 150ms

Belgium, Netherlands and Germany are all pretty central. I’m playing from the Netherlands myself and afaik those countries are were the most games place their EU servers.

regarding the location, you guys stick to AWS right? why not take one of their existing european locations… https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/global-infrastructure/ like Frankfurt (GER) or Ireland? UK would be also nice… but that’s just a future upcoming location of AWS.
Typically from my experiences other MMOs got their server clusters located in France often, what I may recall… but that are old memories. lol.

Russia here. But anywhere in EU works fine for me, Paris server was good enough.

I’ll be playing from Germany, I think an EU Server located here would be good for many countries in Europe!
