Austrian player here. The typical location would be something like Frankfurt in Germany, but I guess the server should be located more in the east for the russian players - if it’s viable. Maybe someone from eastern europe could give us some insight based on his experience.

Highly recommend Amsterdam, NL or Frankfurt, DE. Both are central for the majority of EU gamers.

Germany/France would be fine.

I’m playing from France. I think a server located in Germany such as the Amazon Server from Frankfurt would be the most suited.

As many others already said, Frankfurt is a great location since it’s very central. Amsterdam is another good choice.

Hi! I’m playing from Spain and I’d love to have an EU server! For example, best sever in Path of Exile for me is London or Amsterdam. I think Amsterdam, France, United Kingdom or Belgium are good places to place a server. They are centralized.

Frankfurt, Amsterdam or France as they have some of the best data centers.
Also Sweden would be really good.

Germany is currently building a high speed cable under the ocean that is supposed to reduce ping times for people from Scandinavia to Germany by something like 50%. The line will be done soon, so for future purposes Germany would definitely be the best option overall.

Amsterdam or Frankfurt might be the fairest choice for everyone.
