You’re expecting English speaking IMC staff to have the strength/power to get something changed within 24hours when the devs have 4 (5?) different published regions with different codebases to develop for all with different community forums that all have language speaking staff that are all also trying to communicate about the problems those different published versions have.

Too many versions, too many communities, too few developers, too many different bugs on different versions.
Priority is given to Nexon because $$$ deals.
I don’t think it’s incompetence that makes them slow to get things fixed when these mistakes are made, I think they are stretched way too thin with all these different versions. They made one mistake by thinking they could handle it all and that one mistake has generated more and more mistakes. This combined with some of the devs leaving at a critical time made things even worse for them.
But yeah. It shouldn’t be a surprise that things don’t happen in 24 hours. This isn’t a development project that only has 1 client to develop for like almost all other games. This is the equivalent of 1 dev team work on 4+ different games at the same time.
