did this and i got a message saying that it failed and has to reacquire. now i have 396mb patch waiting to be downloaded. wtf man. are there anyone here who dl’ed the 396mb patch and got it to work?

Game running. Windows 7 x64bits here.
IT may be a placebo effect but after this ninja patch I feel the game improved its FPS somehow. Even in towns.
I’m having the same problem. Game was working fine last night. Now every time I open it I get “An error occurred while updating Tree of Savior (English Ver.) (disk read error).”
I followed all the suggestion on the steam page. It keeps saying 40 files need to be re-acquired after verifying game integrity but the error happens again and the 40 files are never reacquired. This is only happening on my desktop. Verifying integrity of cache fixed the issue on my laptop. Makes no sense. 
I uninstalled mods and verified the cache and the game updated and meowed normally. Then I logged off and played something else after doing event. 
Same here. Now just have to wait for the 400MB-download to finish.
