Personally i think lancer at c1 wont be amazing however at c3 will be amazing. Becuz cata c1 is kinda ok, at c2 better but still meh, at c3 he shines.

Why is that? I actually chose doppel over corsair c2 due to DoV and a slash skill. With new shields, 50% pDef penalty isnāt huge as for 2H swordsmen (not to mention high dex/evasion + block) and 50% attack bonus gets better with new weapons and transcendent system. I can see the benefit of longer Iron Hook and Spear Lunge + Hexen Dropper but I feel Doppel c1 gives you more benefits (those gauntlets with +damage with slash attacks on plate armored targets also seem helpful).
The only thing I donāt like about hoplite is lack of CC. I wish Barb could give you spear access 
Gae Bulg is for party play. With 5 players in party, you can get 10% increase damage but this skill is not for solo.

Oh, I thought it was corsair>doppel>dragoon. Iām running the old meta PvE except I took Corsair instead of Hop c3. For some reason, I thought you had one.
Iām interested in making a dragoon and I see that you managed to squeeze in corsair for the build. May i ask how? I find it very interesting. And is going corsair for dragoon still good if rank 8 comes into play? Really appreciate it if youād help me.
