well, i didn’t play during the cbt period but i have tested almost all kind of swordsman… those are the ones i currently have and atm the best doppel i have tested is sword-high3-barb1-doppel high str, but… the problem is that with the new trasendence system the story may be different (but it doesn’t matter that much… 2 stat reset pots in my storage) and i will like to upload some footage later on.
i’ll likely to mention that atm doppel is overall the best kind of swordy…in general, but for example a catagoon will be a better mobber for trashy mobs that are the best way to earn money (demon prison, vedas etc…) or the rare ones cause the speed +rush is great, dragoon is… great against weak to pierce monster but nothing special… fencer is the best single target swordsman bar none, the problem is that is soo damn expensive… and even being the best swordsman is ranked third globaly (ofcourse fletcher is first and then comes wugushi if there isn’t another wugushi around) and doppel is good t mobbing and has a great single target dmg, has the best aoe dmg from the swordsman tree and a great buff for dmg booster that with a diev3 or a druid2 works amazing.
PD: well with rank8 … all of that changed.
see this vid, the guy probably using high DEX build with a bit of STR and NO CON.
with better weapons this can end-up being the way to go

yeah, i have been following each of his videos and as before rank8 he was high str with dex, now he changed to high dex with str, his twin blade is crazy, is a +15 with 3 gems and trassendence of 150%, his base pattack is 2k and mostly use two glad or two sissel.
You should tell him the price to get all of those gears too 
Edit: Remember dex str (hybrid) not dex con
so i guess dex will be the way to go in R8, cool. using zornhau/crown to deal with magic and evasion to deal with physical…
well i have all of that EXCEPT the twin blade… and probably his attributes are maxed too, but i’ll gladly pay that price if i had that kind of silver… probably he has used around 200m only on attributes and the weapon
Edit: yep he doesn’t have a single point in con, not like me who have 30, imo i need at least that much for doing solo stuff, but with that kind of gear it doesn’t matter.
You lucky to have all of that because right now a freaking battle bracelet cost over 6 8 m and impossible to farm in my server

Most meta Doppelsoeldner get Highlander c3 for Skull Swing [Armor Break] only.
And DEX for 50% cri with RNG.
With high CON you can stack 100% on DOV even VS magic mobs without mushroom.
Low Rank just filter Class so better get utility.
With this build you can do Max lv Swash Buckling with Umbo Thrust.
Just pop High Guard and Guardian in group of physical mob if in danger.
Rank 8 Doppelsoeldner still got 15 point left so you can swap to Two-Handed sword.
I will call it Shield Doppelsoeldner.

4k physical damage? he’s also a DEX char? how is that possible? there’s someone who keeps bragging 'no one can reach 3k++ phy.atk like his because he is STR:CON with DoV.
kidding aside, i think High3 barb1 outshines the previous High1 Barb3. unless some miraculous thing changes for Barb2>barb3 (warcry?)
lvl 280 high 3>barb 1 never had any trouble getting into parties stop spreading this stupid nonsense. Yea if the party dont have a linker or chrono it would be handy to have swash but is not necesary
