Disgusting Support

I Bought the game on 31-mar-2016, played for 2 days and the game stopped working, Game Won’t Start After Successfully Patching. I tried everything and nothing, now after changing from amd to nvidia the game is working again, but i missed the SA server transfer.

Opened a ticket to ask for transfer to not lose the stuff i bought, told then i was unable to play the game for a loooong time but only got a generic response like " no sorry pal, thanks for yo money  "

Its the first time i quit a game before release
Good luck to everyone , bye and sorry my bad English
Now fell free to rage me before they delete this topic and ban me

If you only played for two days, then I don’t see why you can’t just create a new character on the SA server. It’s not like you’ve lost a lot of progress. What you may lose is the token benefits, if you bought pack 1 or 2 and used it immediately.

The following game publishers will be just as bad if you think IMC is bad:

  • Aeria Games and Entertainment (IE: Lineage II, Aura Kingdom, etc.)
  • Perfect World Entertainment (Perfect World, Ether Saga Odyssey, etc.)
  • GamesCampus (ASDA / 2.)
  • Electronic Arts (I don’t have to tell you why.)
  • Sony Online Entertainment (I also don’t have to tell you why.)
  • gPotato / WEBZEN (Ragnarok Online, Ragnarok Online II, etc.)
  • Nexon USA (Mabinogi, Maple Story, Vindictus)
  • Trion Worlds (RIFT, Defiance)

The only “good,” publishers I’ve run into are…

  • NCSoft (Barely. They have Guild Wars 2, WildStar)
  • Enmasse (Again, Barely. They have TERA.)
  • Funcom (Barley Malt. They have The Secret World.)
  • Square Enix (This is mainly because Square is stuck ten years in the past when it comes to MMOs. Taking ideas directly from Vanilla WoW and Burning Crusade.)
  • Grinding Gear Games (Path of Exile)

It’s really up to you on what you want to do. But believe me, there are very, very few publishers for MMORPGs that can be deemed “good.” You may have noticed I left out good 'ol “ogplanet” from either list. I’m still not sure if it’s a good or bad publisher.

you bough the game in early access and never go to the game page to find information about it?
I don’t know if you are so blind or retard to buy something that you don’t know what’s going on to it.
Bough from March, stop playing until May, now quit the game.
Thank God you quit the game.

I’ll add OGPlanet & Gameforge onto the list of bad if not worse than IMC. People overexaggerate issues, as most of the companies you said are actual publishers who’s supposed to actually help their players. Don’t even get me started on Aeria’s scumbaggery.

Granted IMC isn’t good at communicating. Which I do wish they get better at. But honestly they’re on the upper end of bad and could very easily improve.

@katyperryshy So it’ll kill you to actually get back two days of work? Oh noooooo. Plus, if you were playing that early, you should have kept up with the month long news about the transfers, because you were paying so much attention, right?

Man, hand holding really has shaped the industry, huh?

Which is why I’m glad that Final Fantasy XIV only does its hand-holding after hard content becomes easier content, and that developers of Final Fantasy XV said that the game will be as difficult as the first Final Fantasy, if not more.

release was on mar 29, so don’t feel bad, you didn’t abandon it before release.

meanwhile if it took you a month to solve the problem of the game not launching… it feels like you just weren’t terribly interested, and this isn’t such a big deal.

that said, if you really want to keep playing, you can just buy founders discount pack 1, and use that on the SA server.
although, the SA server is in pretty terrible condition these days.

edit cuz i totally dont understand

And yet. XIV is considered high quality and in the top 3 of best mmos atm. Though, my only complaint on it is the battle system. Cant do tab targeters anymore.

I’m guessing you’re fine with fuzzy select tab target MMORPGs then, since Guild Wars 2 and Tree of Savior are that.

Pseudo action combat is the correct term your looking for. Still better than traditional Tab Targeter, which is what XIV is.

I really like its concept, but Guild Wars 2 drove me away when I found out the devs were making too much fake difficulty in fractals. As well as WvWvW being required now to get legendary (Unless you buy it off the market.)

Anyway, enough off-topic-ness. My point still stands, there’s very few publishers that are actually “good” at that, publishing.

You didnt even really play the game.

perhaps you shouldnt play video games at all. You are that part of the demographic that actually hurts the industry more than it helps. Your dollars are better spent elsewhere, like rockem sockem robots.Perhaps you should buy board games like “Guess Hue?” Or that famous mystery/detective game “ClHue”. I would think that games like “Dont wake the Brazilian” and “Hue Trap” would be a better investment of your time. If you want family games may I suggest “Hueopoloy” or “Br Trouble”?

Neither GPotato nor WEBZEN did ragnarok online o-o

And i miss ether saga odyssey :frowning: my favorite past time to bad they shut it down

I share your incomprehension from ToS Support.
They think all the players have obligation to follow forum/site news, and forgot we have to work, study, eat, etc.

I hate too when we sent a ticket and they say like ‘Thanks for buying Founder’s Pack’, it’s the first thing they always say. Sound generic like you said.

I have a topic with same issue, so please, don’t give up. They say like is hard to allow a transfer and we devote our timelife to them, like have no rights, that’s an absurd.

Self-indulgence people say that is our fault or/and the world is like this, but we can’t let this happen without fighting for our rights.

PS: A lot of people will try to diverge your topic, tryin to make flow to other discussion, do not let them do it.

I agree. The support is mostly nonchalant and they do not really try to help you to solve your problem at all.

Best customer service I have seen so far in an mmorpg is Grinding Gear Games (Path of Exile)
