ok so i just got dievdirby here are some questions i have.

  1. im strength so carve is doing a lot of damage, one shotting everything (with the wholse skill, not just one tick). does the damage drop off soon? or does it stay this good? (im lvl 43, carve is lvl 1)

  2. i find that im carving the stataues REALLY fast. i carve them i about a second. i dotn even see a bar. in videos i see it takes like 5 seconds to carve the statues. so is it like energy bast from monk where you charge it and you can release the charge at any time? or does it just stay this fast forever, im confused. and if it does carve this fast foreveer then does owl carve this fast?

3.does owl scale with strength?

  1. when do the buffs come? i tested this with carve and goddel laima, i had carve on cd and then i used laima and nothing happend to carves cooldown. like does it work right when i carve the staue? i was int he aoe and carves cd stayed the same. and if u leave the aoe will ur cooldowns go back up to their original time?

On 2, no, I think that might be an older version that’s been patched.
I also have a Diev that carve statues really fast and still carves even after being knocked down.

  1. Esp plant type monster, its very good.
    *druid skill that can change monster property to plant will benefit on that skill.
    *most of monks max carve
  2. Theres no charge anymore

oh owl is int Q_Q, im going monk. if i get owl to lvlv 5 and have 4 int points will owl do good dmg still?

Yes. It doesn’t scale as much but Owl is nice to tank and help chip and draw aggro.
It’s one of those skills that can be useful no matter what one way or another. We’re utility class so it ain’t all about damage.

yeah chance r wheni egt to monk i wont be using owl thta much anyway, if its really good still onc ei get to it i might still use it onc ei get to monk

Monk’s DP range is short.
Energy Blast effectiveness will be higher if you can bunch them up.
Palm Strike will blast them off.

Owl will still be useful for bunching 'em up and share a bit of aggro with monk.
After all Monk ain’t a tanker class. You end up running around to get the right positioning.

Yes but for some reason noone knows the exact formula for Energy Blast…
Some said INT and CON helps too… Some said it’s STR/DEX only…

Well personally I take it for the coolness not the damage :stuck_out_tongue:

oh wait i just checked and enegy counts as a physical attack so its gonna sclae with strength
