I’m waiting for rank reset because I want to remake my cata. I can’t choose for rank7: Dragoon 1 vs Corsair 1. I know both are viable but I saw this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGuF4Li4_JI
So isn’t hook the best skill to land lancer’s skill for?
Dragoon 1 just add serpentine and dragontooth and the attribute for bossing.
corsair definitely has its advantages for pvp.
i use dragoon skills basically just to proc restrain and maybe make some damage. But yes corsair with hook is pretty good with lancer.
I would reset my dragoon lancer to be a corsair lancer if i didn’t have other things in mind.

for me, people i meet in an mmo are random strangers and i don’t see them as anything else
it’s probably true for 90% of the people who play mmos if you actually have feelings for random strangers you play internet games with that’s your problem (or maybe not a problem) bud

Oh I’m not saying you can’t have an opinion. I just find it rude for other guildies or people that might try to trust you.
My opinion of a guild is a hangout where I can play a game with other people, get to know them and have fun with them. Having in-game friends that you can rely on is important for me. It changes the whole aspect of the game. I’m sure if it wasn’t for my guild and the people in it I wouldn’t be playing this game anymore or at least not as much. There is mutual help, motivation and it’s far from being just “a guild” or being “for profit”. But I guess you don’t care. I just don’t like selfish people either in real life or within the game. I am not being a creep and I didn’t take that screenshot. I just knew you before you proclaim yourself a DieHardLancer. People get a reputation in this game, good or not. It’s nice to help other Catas and new comers and your guide is useful for them but I guess TeamMuhammad remains TeamMuhammad. See you in GvG where your true form is.

I’m now having second thoughts with resetting my catagoon to a hop3 variant since the cata skills buff seems comparable to having spear throw in terms of AOE dps. Thoughts?
Can i use the lancer skills without mount?
I think on hoplite 2 shinobi lancer with pierce skills dmg from lancer

@SiomaiGaming not really sure if its a good choice to pick a cata goon/lancer to ET
if you are a goon, life might be easier and you’d definitely need stage 10 weapon and very high attributes.

Yo! How’s the cata buff on your end? I haven’t really been able to compare it with pre-buff as it’s been awhile since I’ve played this toon (was working on a Falconer recently).
well my doom spike damage went from 10-15k to 50-60k (and i only have 20% attribute)
they changed it to multi hit so its REALLY good earth wave is strong too
rush damage went up to 11k on cloth and 9k on leather, haven’t tested against plate but im definitely getting the attribute to lvl 90 now
they really buffed the hell out of this class’ damage. Cata skills make as much damage as rank 8 skills.
steed charge is single hit so still worse, pick 1-2 points for knockdown
all the rest is very strong

Wow. Do you think it gets on par, maybe perhaps at least 50% in terms of efficiency, compared with a Hop3 when it comes to AOE/mobbing and bossing?

lol these buffs are so good xD i 1 shotted 2 archers with doomspike. xD I dont have steed charge tho, sadly cant test it. However impaler has nice dmg too lol
