Made another video, seems like theres a chain reaction between all the icewalls when the boss explodes, also if you’re hearing a voice… I was listening to a carci stream in the background.
I’m willing to bet that each ice shard counts towards the next explosion.
Cryo 1 + linker 2 would work even better cause you can link all the ice walls making it so its your hit ( which turns into 6 hits)+ 6x3 (I think) because of the shards = 2 activations of toy hammer per hit + the shards obviously
I’m going to be testing this build next week somewhat.
On that note how do you actually get a toy hammer?
I wouldn’t bet on this in the long run, it’s gonna get nerfed (fixed) just like the old combo. It would be fun while it lasted.

Also do 1000+ damage on some boss, some boss take half damage.
So I assume toy hammer explosion base damage is 1000 (maybe ignore target defense) + additional damage from other source.
I might be wrong need more info on this thing.

could someone explained to me? what i know is ice shard can shot with combination of ice wall and psy pressure from psykino…
than, i see something amazing with just one shot and the boss are pop out…
Ice Wall will shoot 3 shards when it takes physical damage of any kind.
Toy hammer will cause a large explosion every 10 times you damage an enemy.
So she hits the wall a few times, and the first explosion goes off, shooting three shards from each of the 8 walls, or 24 shards. Enough of these shards hit the boss to set off another explosion, sending out 24 shards, setting off an explosion, etc.
I’m not sure what determines how many hits a wall section can take, but it does that many cycles in a fraction of a second, decimating the poor target.

so how about the calculation of the damage? is it base on our physical attack? or solely from the weap we use?
Is it worth it to lose the mattack you get from using a rod? Well at least at higher levels, cuz doesn’t mattack adds to the damage of each shard as well?
Actually Toy hammer procs on everything, magic/skills included.
I think @dmhamilt was right, every shard that hits the boss after it reaches 10 hits count as an explosion. Also @arkgolf thank you for all the chrono tests, it’s nice to see how chrono skills work. Back on topic yes Toy hammers damage seems fixed, which is why it will fall off later on.
All characters have a weapon swap attribute.
Put a rod in one and the hammer in the other, and only use the hammer with this combo.
It should be awesome with a linker circle 3, since you get 10 mobs together - every one of your attacks IS 10 hits and because that triggers an explosion - that hits 10 targets by itself - it should trigger another one and another one and so on hahaha I really need to test it
Could you share your builds? I am thinking of making Cyro, but I dont know which skills should I max.
You can reset so just test them out and pick the one you like?
