I had a few. One of them was way back when I played Luna. Ah the good times where the dramas were more entertaining than the MTV’s. Anyway, I joined a guild since I’ve been soloing for quite sometime, and it was an active guild, quite cheerful, a lot of members and always talkative.
After some time, I get to know the top executives, ya know, the Leader, Sub-Leader and things like that and we do get pretty close. Until our leader decided to step down since he’s busy with work/life and replaced it with a girl, the Sub-Leader. This girl is quite popular so you can imagine the attention drawn to her. She was very nice and I get to know her pretty easily. Most of the time we were talking to each other, but little did I know that our talk/friendliness were actually hated by most of the guild, towards me mostly.
After awhile I get the feelings the members doesn’t want to be there when I’m there. Either dungeon run, gathering, grinding etc. She helped me most of the part so it’s always been the 2 of us. One day when she was offline, the guild members blurted out after seeing me. Saying I shouldn’t get too close with her, stop making friendly chats, and even send out death threats. I was like “Woah, the thirst is real”. They judged me by that point and kicked me out from the guild. So yeah, they kept making lies after I was banned from guild. So they can keep her all to themselves. Same goes with the girls in guild though, they hated me for the reason they don’t have the chance to talk to her.
What a world.

Well, people are weird! Once, someone told my brother, who was de Guild Leader btw, that he was tyrant, inhuman and boring XD And the person who said this was serious about it!

That reminded me of my sister. She plays with both male and females charas, and stays in character. Problem was that her female friend fell for her male persona. She never came clear to her. I was kinda mad cos if she knew her friend was developing those kind feelings she should have told her the truth right there and then. I was about to rat on her, but in the end I decided that it was her problem and didn’t say anything. I did tell her every couple of days to tell her friend the truth, but she never did. In the end they ended their friendship.

It has happened. A lot of happenings in this world so I wouldn’t be so surprise. I mean I met a guy who RP as a girl seriously and even made up a voice. Confessed to a guild member and that guild member changed server. We all know he’s a dude all the time. And some very very weird stuffs I don’t want to get into.
Girl was popular so everyone wanted her. We have no love feelings but to them, maybe I’m just taking the chance so yeah. Jealousy at its finest. Welcome to planet earth ladies and gentlemen.

Talking about your story that happened while I was playing with my friend in my story, the guys from the guild would fight among thenselves to get the attention of my friend, well that untill they found out it was a G.I.R.L. intead of a girl. (・ω・）

I also meet my first girlfriend because of forums and games (mmo’s). 4 years ago, and she still bein’ my GF.
Then screw your guildmates, really. You don’t deserve that hate. It’s like they are afraid that you will have a lot of power and affection inside the guild by being a best friend for the leader. There must be some sick gossips going around and the person who started that is the one to blame.

Back when ragnarok just came out(and the first MMO that i played), i created a swordsman and invested int and vit on my stats because i had the impression “I want my swordsman to be intelligent and tough”. I also met my first ever girlfriend there, when i was in poporing island leveling my “intelligent” swordsman, i partied her str acolyte(she was also clueless about the stats) because it was taking me alot of time killing a single poporing being an int/vit swordie. We would sit and regen for every 4 - 5 kills and starts chatting together. Years of playing together, our knowledge about the game grew and laugh at each others build. We once thought about making new characters to fill the right stats but we stayed anyway just for the sake of memories. We changed job when 2-2 job classes were released. Mine became a pally and hers became a monk. And that’s my crazy story. Oh memories. *cries in a corner
