Rank 8 wonāt be here until the end of the year, my guess is you wonāt be here either, donāt waste your time thinking into something thatās not even close and focus on what you can do right now.

Im not a traitor cuz im not a corsair lol. Sorry for intruding i guess.
I donāt know if some one said, but DWA will not work with rapiers since pierce damage from passive donāt work with normal attacks and some people said DWA ignores main weapon.

I have a Pelt -> Hop 2 -> Corsair 2 -> Doppel.
My plan is to go c3 Corsair at rank 8 due to their not being a stellar option of rank 8ās for a Corsair or Shinobiā¦
So i figured that the one thing that Corsair lacks is AOE for mobbing, and I have a Taunt so why not put it to use?
So i went Doppel at r6 for DOV, DPR, and Cyclone
I also took one point in Mordschlag to have another strike skill.
(And I LOVE this build)
Since theres no better option I guess Ill go Corsair 3 at R8.
and MAYBE Doppel wont be a bad r8 for you just like im hoping that Corsair 3 is not a bad pick for meā¦
(However Dragoon doesnāt look terribly bad)
What is the use think in advance when u dont have much details regarding rank 8?
Do you see corsair performing pistol shot with shield? No?
Or maybe there is an autoswitch implemented for swordies? No?
Are you a rider? No?

if lancer skills are mount specific then im going for doppel since i planned taking doppel into my build when i was still at rank5 tbh it took me sometime to decide whether to take cor2 or doppel during my rank6 advancement looking at the skills doppel1 has to offer via tosbase really attracts meā¦
but hopefully IMC makes some changes on corsair since if youāll read the description of corsair class via advancement it says
āCorsairs are specialized in dual-wielding and ambushing enemies from behind. Anyone who joins the Corsairsā party becomes a pirate.ā
the word dual wielding really is out of context merely because dual wielding oriented skills like Hexen and DWA not to mention DWA is the skill which gives you the dual wielding capability is available via corsair2
but lets not forget dust devil which is a good stagger skill which would later on have 3 overheats and its range increased but still they should rearrange the skills in the corsair ranks to make the ādual wieldingā attraction of the class much more appropriate like

Hexen Dropper
Dust Devil
Iron Hook

Keel Hauling
Net - a skill that holds enemies in place trapping them inside a net but still lets them cast spells/skills (this one lets corsairs move freely unlike iron hook)

C3 hmm idkā¦imo needs some reworkā¦ tbh i consider c3 a trap rank only thing thatās good in it is hexen 10ā¦ maybe DWA 8/9 for uptime and Jolly Roger 15ā¦ other than thatā¦ not so much appealing
Since corsair is considered as an Attack/Support class Jolly Roger and Iron Hook both in c1 is enough to make the class an attack/support combinationā¦, hopefully they crush the unlock chest skill or just make it an attribute since its really useless, i doubt anyone took that skill for anything but if anyone did then skill points wasted mehh ., DWA also needs to get some buff its a pain to use it and its kinda slow lolā¦ tbh i didnāt take the skill on my 2nd shinobi because its broken sh!t.
Iām expecting at some point there will be chests in the game only corsairs can unlock, and then we all have to use skill resets to get them.
might be but i doubt they would, thatās unfair for other people its gonna be a discrimination for other classes on the other hand i heard IMCās planning to implement swordsman only armors which would separate us from other classes making swordsman the ideal tank that we are entitled to be but if those armors are meant to tank, im hoping they have an offensive counter part which are also swordsman only because if they all are for tanking purposes then all swords would be considered as tanks regardless of how theyāre built.

It would be no more unfair than anything else exclusive to other classes. Corsairs canāt make potions or awaken items, or find hidden items with scan, or repair armor, etc.

Iām a SW2 > Barb 2 > Cors 2 > Shinobi.
Deciding if i go Corsair 3 or Doppel or even Sword 3 for shinobi clones copy skills.
I donāt want to be locked to weapons so Fencer and Dragoon are off the table.
Pros and cons please?
