Bug Description :
If you die sometimes the “Riding” status is removed and the character is still mounted thus preventing to ride the companion again and using all skills that needs it.
Steps to reproduce the issue :
Can confirm this issue. Does not require death, can randomly happen upon attempting to rest while mounted as well.
Definitely gamebreaking if you ran Cataphract.
Happened to me aswell, unless you relog/change map/channel, you wont be able to ride or use skills that require mount.
Happens to me on missions.
Also a Cata.
Sometimes after re-spawning. Sometimes even without re-spawning, just moving between mission locations makes my mount disappear.
I’m a SR. When this happens makes my R6 and R7 useless. ;-;

I’ve noticed this only happens if you’re using controller/joypad.
I used to have the same problems but it disappeared after I change back to keyboard.
Also iirc if you’re using controller, if you mount then unmount your companion, he won’t follow you.
So you should just stick with keyboard for now while waiting for a fix, it might take a while though as I think I see this bug being reported on forum everynow and then.

I’m using mouse mode, and I have the same problem, when I die I can’t use my mount anymore. I’m a cataphract. It happens on dungeons and missions, mostly.
A fix would be appreciated, without mounts we are useless in dungeons. :<
This bug was even in iCBT2.
And seeng lack of GM attention, seems to be still “uknown” or “minor”
I just can’t imagine how to do ET with this bug :<
UP-ing this bug!!! It’s so game breaking for a cata 3. I cant use most of my damage dealing skills in dungeons after dying once then choose restart option!!! I’m basically useless! My only solution is to not die even once or for a priest to revive me. PLEEEASEEEEE NOTICE THIS GMs.

- Fixed a bug when the character walked away from the companion, the AI would stop working.
How is this not fixed yet? Every time I die in lvl 100 missions as Cata I can’t do anything because of this bug and have to relog. Major issue, fix it already.
