While Fletcher is typically considered the strongest single-target damage class in general, Iād love to see more Monk compete in DPS. Maybe they canāt do the most DPS, but I think with proper planning they can at least secure cubes outside of ghost fights.
Energy Blast is one of the coolest skills in the game, because it has a ridiculous amount of modifiers.
It is physical damage, but scales off of intelligence AND strength. It is possible to create a super Energy Blast by linking a Monk with a character with high intelligence.
It is holy, and so it deals double damage against dark-type enemies. You can also inflict an enemy with Mastema from the Warlock tree to make it take an additional 100% holy damage from all sources, including Energy Blast.
It is strike, and so it deals 50% extra damage against plate type enemies, and deals 100% more damage when an enemy is afflicted with Lethargy.
You CAN do some stuff to make Energy Blast competitive in the lower level world bosses where burst always wins over damage over time.
generally, no class can competer with flecther, but soime skills can during diffeternt situations.
i havent used energy blast yet, but if it was used on a boss that was lethargied, plate and dark, and the monsk was linked with an intā¦ then energy blast might be the highest hitting skill in the game.
but what are the chances of that happening? too much set up.

When/if they ever fix targeting, Bokor will be beast mode. Right now so much SP and time are wasted trying to get target around pets, zombies, owls anything that gets in the way to target the actual mob.
they need to make it so u can toggle to not target freindlies. and make tab target actually work
Cleric 2 > diev 3 > Druid 1 > Druid2/PD1
Highest true aoe damage without a linker
Cleric 2 > Cleric 1/Krivis > Krivis > Krivis > Druid 2 > Druid 2/PD1
Might be able to compete with the first one simply because Zaibas scales super hard. However, itās not worth it imo since Krivis doesnāt have many good spells. Zaibas also isnāt true aoe and isnāt as good at mobbing as owls although owls can sometimes be weaker for bossing since they can be knocked out of the way.
IMO monk will never be able to compete with Krivis/Diev + Druid + PD since monkās only true hard multihitting physical skill is energy blast. This may be changed with rank 8 if IMC releases a hardcore phys damage cleric class, but that is not definite.
ATM, Bokor is great for pvp but falls behind in pve due to zombie ai issues and the tiny aoe of hex. Theyāre still pretty good at bossing though, if you donāt fps lag.
I hear also sadhu is a good choiceā¦is it?
Why diev would be bettere?i know that he have to build ecery owl and all skills are stationary
sadhu is a terrile choice, possession is a REALLY strong skill, but its circle 2, and all the other sadhu skills are ā ā ā ā atm. owl is op, carve is exxelent
