Class reset please! YEY
RO had a class reset and stat reset. Both were hard to get. Not an item shop thing either.
Making a class that was a powerful EXP grinder, reaching a certain level and then resetting into another class was completely normal. No one minded it.
It’s that in TOS you have this community of elitists who hate the idea, because they know exactly how easy it is to ■■■■ up a class build and they spent hours and hours planning a careful route and then noticing in the end it was perfect and keeping all the knowledge to themselves. There’s a lot of hidden skill combos in this game that are not written anywhere.
They don’t want people who ■■■■■■ up bad to be able to reset, because then it means they can fix their mistakes and be on par with the ones who planned. They are afraid people will just copy their unique builds.
Leveling is easy any way. This is a bad excuse. Making a character, say an Elementalist, so you can grind and level up fast and then resetting say to an Alchemist does indeed feel cheap.
Same with making a Barbarian and leveling fast and then suddenly at the end changing into a full blown CON Murmillo or something like that makes all those people who suffered through leveling as Peltasta feel cheapened.
I get you. I truly do. But if class reset was part of this game from day one and with an in game method of achieving it (look up how RO did this, you had to go through a painstakingly long quest that took over a week alone) I would be fine with it.
People look up planners, guides etc. and make a character.
Then they level it up and find out it’s terrible.
Hundreds of hours wasted because the guide and/or skill descriptions are uninformative or full of old info.
Class reset should’ve been in this game from day one.
I just hope it’s not an item shop exclusive thing only for like 150 TP or I will be disappointed.
