Managed to complete Miko advancement on kTOS.
Unfortunately my cleric’s too low level so I might not be able to answer much related to skills, but I can answer stuff related to job advancement.
Congratulations, ready!
How did you experience the demon prison pillar & orb part?
how long u did job advancenent for miko?
The year is 3500 and IMC didn’t introduce miko/kanushi in silute [SA] yet
I did it over a number of days (3 days in my case). It is possible to do the entire pre-quest and advancement within a single day but it may depend on population and luck. You do not need to be Class LV15 to complete the pre-quest.
There are 7 spirits to collect. You can collect them in any order. This is my personal take each one
- Manahas: Collect spirit. Entirely by luck. Unknown respawn interval but rumored to be very long.
- Klaipeda: Collect spirit. Fairly easy. Just cycle through all channels and hope it is in one of the channels. All players can share same spirit.
- Orsha: Pray to alter until the alter disappears in spectacular fashion. This is the most time consuming one as it will take at least 2 hours and 20 minutes (3.5 hours for me, I did 1 hour first day and 2.5 hours second). The prayers do not appear to carry over to the next day, so try to do this in one sitting. In kTOS it is customary to indicate what time you started (e.g. use chat “!!” to put a sign on top of your head) so that others can get an estimate of how long you need. Multiple players can pray simultaneously by praying at different channels.
- Demon prison 1: Kill approx 100 mobs in 2F, go back to 1F and collect correct orb (based on hour) and talk to collect pillar (based on day). Fairly easy.
- Crystal mine: Easy. Collect correct spirit out of the 7 (no competition among players). If you take wrong one you have to pick another spirit after 1 hour. For me it is the second-to-bottom one that is the correct one (same as the KR guide).
- Pelke Shrine Ruins: Fairly easy, recommend to just camp at one channel (preferably with no other people) and wait for it to spawn (approx 10-30 min)
- Uskis’ Arable Land: Quite annoying. You actually have to pay attention to the bush and wait for it to glow and press spacebar only when it is glowing (do not press spacebar at any other time or you will not be able to collect the spirit as it will block your attempt for about 10 seconds). The glow is very short in duration (and very subtle), so you should only camp at one channel and refrain from multi-tasking.
After collecting all 7 spirits, you will receive a charged Gohei. Go to Nuoridin Falls and talk to the only NPC in that map. His dialog will be different from the normal one. Then go to Passage of the Recluse and find the Miko master.
The job advancement itself is very easy, just visit the following 7 places and use the Gohei at a certain spot (it can be done more faster if you have activated the teleport statues)
Residence of the Fallen Legwyn Family
Roxona Reconstruction Agency West Building
Royal Mausoleum Workers Lodge
Nevellet Quarry 1F
Topes Fortress 1F
Sicarius 1F
2nd Demon Prison
For the Demon prison spirit, the orb is based by hour (server time).
E.g. if it is 7.30PM (or AM), take the orb labelled “7”.
The pillars is based by day (also server time).
1 = Sunday
2 = Monday
3 = Tuesday
4 = Wednesday
5 = Thursday
6 = Friday
7 = Saturday
When you select the correct pillar, the pillar will crumble AND you will see a success message (if you choose wrong pillar, it will also crumble the pillar and show a different message, also you won’t get the spirit and have to try again later).
*The screenshot also show the charged Gohei item that you will get when you collect all the spirits.
Thank you, ready725. I really appreciate this.
The altar at orsha is why I wouldn’t miko on KToS (very likely to disconnect => someone else will take the spot…)
Here’s a translated Miko quest guide. Hope it might be useful.
Thank you so much for this, it will be a great help when Miko is released.
My only concern is if people will actually respect each other while doing the pre-req stuff… what am i saying, i play on Silute, there’s no respect on that ■■■■.
But still, if anyone here plays on Silute and will be questing for Miko, please, don’t interfere if you see someone camping to get the pre-req stuff. Let’s make the Miko arrival as smooth as possible.
So, on step 1, you wrote the following:
All steps before the advancement quests can be performed without needing to be at class level 15.
After completing Manahas quests for Merissa, the NPC will provide an option to obtain a Gohei.
The quests from this NPC are only available after the main questline (yellow quest markers) is completed.
What exactly do you mean by “The quests from this NPC are only available after the main questline (yellow quest markers) is completed.” As far as I’m aware, there are no main questline in Manahas, so which main questline do I have to finish?
Ah my bad, you are correct. There are no yellow main quests in Manahas. But you will need to clear the Merchant Alliance quests at least until the point whereby “Lost and Found” is completed.
Judging by those videos of Clap + Diev Statues, you can keep statue of Ausrine up forever?
Seems like this would be really good for ET to keep infinite invulnerable and perhaps replace the Diev 3 > Kriv 3 meta?
afaik ausrine statue has a counter that depend on lvl. only 5 people can get the buff from a lvl 5 ausrine. after that the statue will disappear, even though the statue duration itself has not end. you can only increase it by skill lvl, using divine might and houki broom to lvl 7 ausrine for 7 people.
Oh really? I didn’t know that. Thanks!
