I thought about getting Pardoner > Oracle as well, I would love to know your guys opinion.
Iām having huge troubles being effective in the level 135 Dungeon having just turned Bokor 3 I assumed iād just be doing Dambala now and everything would be perfect but Iām having huge problems not making enough zombies with knockback and people just pulling things off of zombify ,dambala not giving me many zombies back and cleaves attacks and archers stopping me from using Bwa-Train to move the zombies into the Dambala quickly.
What are Bokor 3ās using for generic packs of monsters in dungeon play?
- Bwa-Train by itself?
- Bwa-Train with Hexing? (are zombies created through train death on a hexing target?
- Dambala by itself?
- Dambala with Hexing?
- Hex, Effigy, SP Potions?
I just donāt feel like Iām making a large visible contribution at the moment, every minute zombify is off of cooldown my party force me to get 0-1 zombies because itās either a complete steamroll, agonizing slow and drag away from the zombify or average but with a knockback at the last second.
Even tanks move them out of the floor when they see it and think its a debuff on them.
2 - Target under hexing killed by Zombie AA (auto attack).
thats a shame, atleast I know i shouldnāt be hexing to try and make zombies atleast in a dungeon, iām never going to get a zombie AA to finish anything on demand.
You can toss skull opposite of where youre going then run to where youre going after that you hold bwa kayiman and release it while youre beside the enemies. Itll cause the zombies to be too far and teleport on you when you release bwa.
Then again I donāt do dungeons on my bokor. I prefer to find maps where they do 2x damage then debuff stuff to make them hit super hard.
A trade between pure damage and AoE/versatility, a pretty fair one if you ask me.
Also donāt forget you are playing cleric. Is it really okay for you to be able to bring [almost] nothing except incineration to the party? I would think twice about it.
@zPeTz everything except Pardoner in your build is fine. Well, regarding point distribution there is nothing wrong, its about the purpose of it in your build, I think? There is also a Priest1 as an option, you would trade ability to cure rank2 ailments for resurrection which is one of the best pvp/pve support skills there. But yeah, for you they may both be better than Bokor3.
@deanoreadman from my leveling memories wellā¦ solutions arranged by effectiveness:
- Get a tank. Things are much more relaxing when there is someone who takes all the punches.
- Turn off Damballaās knockback . If your allies are the ones knockbacking, kindly ask them stop being newbs to help you with grouping. Seeing zombie train in action they hardly would be against.
- If you canāt cooperate with your allies - use them! Drop Zombify/Damballa on already grouped/weakened mobs, try to walk in mob packs last, wait until your mates take all the aggro and start running around like this
then use the train to cut mobs off your poor allies and be the hero! Just as planned

What? Thatās just theory, Iām certainly not speaking from my experience.
If everyone doing their job, zombie train 24/7 is enough. Sometimes you would need to drop a heal. Also donāt forget to bring some dispellers.
Now that rank 8 has been revealed and my cleric is near rank 6, its time to re-evaluate my build.
I am currently lvl 172, Cleric2-Bokor1-Sadhu2. I plan to go either PD1-Taoist or PD2, so its a matter of what I should pick for rank 6. Currently I am leaning towards Bokor2 for a stronger effigy + Mackangdal for an extra source of protection + Samadieve for a movespeed buff.
Now with Druid C3 being revealed to be rather lackluster (at least from the previews) I was considering getting Druid C1 for rank 6, and maybe getting C2 for R8 or beyond (depending on future circles etc).
Does it seem worth it, though? Giving up Bokor2 for basically Cure 2.0 (Carnivory not being able to hit flying targets) and telepath, in hopes that there would be a dead rank later on for me to back-track for Druid C2?
Quick question,so the krausas mace special effect work on pvp? (sold mine weeks ago and canāt find one in the market)
Yes it Works.
Guys for those who are cleric 2 Bokor. There is hidden interaction (or bug?) on blessing + heal. Everytime iām blessed every heal tile is hitting twice, this is very nice for leveling. So level your heal to 50% as soon as possible (itās cheap).
Can someone help me with my Bokor build for PvP/PvE? Hereās my Bokor plan http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/3aa8xzmj4g/
should I change something there? Whatās a good stat points allocation for Bokors?
You can even add a rank of oracle for some really neat skill being very useful in pvp
I went bokor2 for mack and same tho, just noticing than mack doesnt prevent you from getting staggered when hit (despite not feeling any pain, so the description says - unlike pain barrier of swordies). That kinda corrupted my possession caption plan! Nodody is waiting until Iāve set up a safety zone first!!!
Itās a good build, itās not as suited for pve as full support or dps cleric builds but it surely will shine in 5x5 pvp and gvg with spell/damage protection it offers. Skillpoint-wise everything is okay.
Statpoint-wise you would need to invest in con until you feel its enough to stay alive while your protective skills are on cooldown, and dump the rest in int. General agreement for all-purpose bokor is somewhere between 3int:1con and 1int:1con (more pve=more int) but I would save some stat points until rank5-6 and decide after trying actual pvp/gvg.
Edit
This one appeared after the latest update, also the nature of heal damage calculation makes it really hard to bug this way (even for imc). I believe itās a feint-barrage type skill combo that was recently added. Anyways, my cleric3 based bokor damage is so good now, it definitely paid off not following meta woohoo

This was present in icbt2. Iām surprised this isnāt common knowledge.
Because many people use heal: remove damage. This bokor is my first cleric since cbt, its like playing a new game, feels so good.
Was it though? o.o Because I was running around with dps cleric3 since early access and pardoner buffs were always on me. I mean, it is way easier to spot than hexing-zombify or other hidden interactions this game have.
Edit: I rechecked forums for old topics and asked my cleric-priest friends. It really seems to be a new stuff, all mentions are after repository merge. Maybe you mean double healing combo, which is really was here since beta?
Anyone reported that zombie created from hexing&dambala is like crap 1/3 dmg or normal zombie from zombify yet?
Killing 100k mobs to get zombie already is tedious n tat stupid capsule is retarded lol
Well, if you can find it, there was a thread on cleric scaling > wiz scaling before (back in icbt2) where people noted how cleric will get skills with 200% int scaling ([zaibas] and [cure] for example). I specifically mentioned how good [heal] scales there because it can hit 2x per tile for 400% INT scaling pre attribute.
There was also the thread asking if [heal] āstillā hit 2x per tile because IMC rolled out a patch that combined damage numbers into just 1 damage number which was very noticable with [heal] (that was a little bit after launch though).
Yep, found it. LOL, I wonder how did I get to level cap without noticing it but even more I wonder why it isnāt in a dps cleric meta yet. One of the most used skills combined with one of the most common buffs, come on!
they deal the same damage but some maps have 2x zombie damage from zombify circle which do not appear when the zombie is from hex/damballa.
video in storage I learned that the difference is too great when comparing wheeler to regular so i stick to regular now since they seem to have a hiiiigh crit thing as you can see in the vid.
in a bokor3 build to battle league I was thinking about max hexing, effigy and mackangdal ā¦ is this viable? , 5 points left that I could use in samediveveā¦
